Intervention!

I recently discovered the show "Intervention" on A&E a few months ago and I can't stop watching it. A&E constantly has "Intervention" marathons and I'll find myself watching them from beginning to end, not even realizing how much time I've just spent watching television. I personally rather watching the episodes that are about individuals addicted to drugs, rather than others that are based on individuals with problems with alcoholism, eating disorders, etc. I am unsure if this show is actually real or not. It seems to be, but a lot of friends of mine are skeptical. I'm wondering if anyone else out there watches "Intervention" and what they think of it.

Actually, I am watching that show right now. I think that it is very real. It is a fascinating show, and why people choose these destructive behaviors is sort of hard to understand, although I can of feel that I am a food addict. It is the same principal, just alittle more socially acceptable. Alot of people care for the addict more than they care for themselves.

Yes, I agree when you said that the families care more about the addicts than they care about themselves. It's a real shame that people feel so poorly about themselves and their destructive behaviors that they can't love themselves or can't believe that people can love them either.
