Well, the caffeine in the coffee is suppose to help perk a person up.
Once you are perked up, you are usually more alert for a short period of time. That is till the caffeine wears out. Then you need to get another cup to get going again.
While you are having the caffeine adrenaline rush, you will definitely be more alert. And your eyes will not be so tired. For that period of time, anyways.
But do moderate your coffee intake. As they say, too much of anything is not good.

There are lightly tinted, non-glare glasses made specifically for compute use. The glare can cause eyestrain very easily. Mine were a gift, so I don't know where to get them, but I'd as eye doctors' offices or just go on line and search for eyestrain glasses. Good luck!

Try to close your eyes often, like get away from the computer for an hour, just take a rest once in a while. This what I do when I feel like my eyes are popping out and my head starts to hurt. Screen protection and use of protective eye wears is of great help and Check for your optometrist regularly, take good care for the eyes !

You are so right,we need to take good care for our eyes. There are so many beautiful things in the world,it is a pity that I can not see them clearly without glasses.I think I really need the screen protection and the protective eye wears.Thank you for the advice.

I remember very clearly that when at high school,my eyesight was terribly worse as I grown up.At that time, there was some good ways as follows:
1.do eye exercises twice a day,it will reduce by 30 percent pressure.
2.travel around the green land, you'll find out your eyesight goes well gradually
3.keep a good sleep
