well am not a mom but I have taken care of my brother, sister and my sister's baby.Don't worry you will learn his body language slowly as you spend more and more time with him. What you can do is when he starts crying if you haven't feed him yet, then feed him first.Sometimes you need to rub their back slowly and gently, baby's love that too.Rock him on your lap and hum a some songs but that shouldn't become a habit for him.

thanks brisk123, I'll try some of your advices. im trying to avoid carrying him too often, coz that's the only time he gets to calm down. It is really turning into a habit. I can't get things done at the house.

I agree with you, some people want to enjoy what they are doing and some people join the same site but don't make any money out of it. But one thing I'm sure that the site gr1sts recommended me make me money though its not a lot but I still make from it and glad about joining gr1sts there.

Sorry something wrong with my network and posted in the wrong discussion.
Ok I have the same problem like yours when my daughter was one month old. She started crying whenever she wake up. Found out later that she is allergic to milk (milk tolerant) and had a colic stomach. So she started crying whenever her stomach ache.

my son used to cry all the time. it could be gas, you can buy an over the counter med for that. depending on his age he could be teething.sometime hed cry when he just wanted "his space". you may still want to check with a doctor to make sure its not an ear infection.

i never really had problem with my daughter as she barely cry when she was a baby. maybe your kid needs to see new environment or maybe you can try to lay your baby on your chest then tap his back. try to do new things and see if any of it made him stop crying. stick to it

My daughter cried a lot too and she was very gassy. We tried everything until the pediatrician changed her formula. Turns out she was lactose intolerant, which she later outgrew. If your baby is on formula, talk to your pediatrician. Breatfeeding would have been so much better but I couldn't because of meds I was taking.
Have you tried a swing or vibrating baby seat? How about swaddling? Newborns seem to like this.
If the suggestions made by the moms here don't help, you should probably see your pediatrician.
Good luck!! I know this can be very upsetting. Please post back and let us know how it is going.
