My husband is a PIG

Ok, I was really hoping that things had changed from when we were dating. About a year into our dating, my now husband, cheated on me and actually moved out on me and the kids for two weeks. We were having troubles getting along and had the same issues every young couples face. Mostly just the learning to compromise and realize that the decisions we make effect each other. Anyway, last week my little brother's girlfriend showed me some texts that Brandon had sent her. They were nasty. They were definatly not appropriate to send your brother in laws girlfriend. My husband tried to tell me he didn't remember sending her anything bad, then his story changed to it was just joking and playing around, and finally tonight he decided he wanted to 'talk' but didn't want to tell me anything....The first thing wrong is that innocent people dont hide things if they aren't doing anything wrong, like my brothers girlfriend telling my brother and me about the things he wrote....in my mind I can believe she was just making chit chat like normal because she seemed genuinly upset about it when she told us and she is a good kid (19). Brandon on the other hand, lied about saying anything to begin with but when he found out I talked to her and she still had the texts on her phone he changed his story. I told him I'm fed up and will no longer be sharing a room with him. I sent in for a study guide the other day to try and get a job at the post office and have applied for a job at the local hospital. I told him that once I get a job that will allow me to support the three kids that I would probably be moving out. I am just tired of his crap and feel that he miss treated my brother. My parents divorced when I was 11 and my brother and I lived with dad growing up. Dad worked 16 hour days so he was gone early and home late so I went to parent teacher meetings, helped with homework, and cooked for my brother. Spending our childhood like this made me very protective of him, almost like a mom so the worst thing in the world that my husband could have done was something that could cause my brother any hurt and pain. Any advice?

Hi momma! After reading your post i can see why you would call him a pig. It seems as if your husband has no self control, and has stepped over the line. If he could do such a thing to your brother's gf, he can do it with anyone,therefore he can't be trusted in my opinion. I'm glad to hear you're looking to improve your position, by doing so you broaden your chances of making it without him. I'm so impressed by your relationship with your brother, and i understand your feeling of betrayal, Whatever you decide to do i wish you all the best. {{{HUGS}}}

Thank you. Growing up it was always family first and you can't get much closer than siblings. The way I see it, husbands can be replaced but my brother is always my brother.

I agree, but like a lot of young woman out there I thought he would change for us. I know its stupid because they NEVER do change but, love makes you stupid sometimes. Its just another one of life's irritating little lessons :)

I agree with you in saying that your husband is a pig. He truly is according to the story you told here in this post. From the looks of things, he can't be trusted. He will always cheat. He will never change. He has no shame left in every fiber of his being. He even tried to dis- credit the reputation of your brothers girlfriend. Leave him soon. he doesn't deserve you and the kids. You will be better with out him. Good luck.

Thank you. I started my job search today. I will be leaving as soon as I can land a job that pays good. I have to make at least $9.50/hr to cover rent and other bills so I'm applying for all sorts of office jobs and even a housekeeping job at the local hospital. I'm sure I'll get something and be able to leave before the middle of the school year. The hard part will be getting a rental within my daughter's school district so that they don't get pulled out half way through the year.
