Hi friends, sending sms has become so common now a days. I must be sending about 5 sms every day.....what about you all. Do you use key pad of your mobile to type or you send sms from your computer. By the way is there any free site to send international sms........Thanks in advance for all the information.

As for now I hardly send any SMSes. I find talking much easier and fast. Only when someone is in a meeting or when I couldnt get through him I leave a two or three worder. This was however not the case previously. I used to send messages like anything, from mobile, yahoo, youmint, ibibo, globe7....anywhere and everywhere I could. I think, too of anything is not good, we get damn bored with it. The same happened with me. Friends who complained that I kind of spammed them now complain that I forget to send them messages! That's understandable but guess what anything in measured quantity is likeable.
Happy communicating.

I hardly send on e or two.I haven't yet mastered the art of sending SMS completely. After the end of making the message with much sweat most of the times I press the send to draft.folder or press the delete or cancel button.Like a hunting lion I succeed pressing the send button once in ten times. So I just don't like SMS.I take the phone and talk.Kaam Katham. That is my style Apsara.

I send only through pc , woh bhi if there is any important message that I want to convey to my hubby like if I forgot to put salt in the food, then I have to tell him to add salt or else he will eat saltless food......men are so bhoola bhaala....

lol...Apsara, I have joined your club! I got my first cell phone yesterday!!
But I don't intend to use it for anything besides emergencies and to save some money instead of wasting time discussing things with my co-teacher when we have to keep disconnecting and calling each other up because the kids are disturbing. The phone bills increase and we can't even discuss properly. An sms will get the message through and I can reply by sms when I get the time...short sweet and upto the point.

Hi sandiya, you are the best and lucky, because cell phone are dangerous for brain, sms is waste of time and your eyesight becomes weak...and so on and on.......so you are not missing anything by not having a cell phone.....in fact you are using your time in something more creative while we waste on sms.........Thanks for your reply dear.........

hello apsara60!..I send about 100 sms per day and I use the keypad of my mobile phone. Sending sms has become my daily habit. I send greetings and other forwarded messages to my friends. It's my own convenient way of keeping in touch with them. Thanks to the unlimited sms offers by the telecommunications company. =)

I find SMS a very convenient and fast mode of communication. I am addicted to sending SMSs to all my near and dear ones. There is no fixed limit or quota per day, I send rather forward, as and when a good one is received by me. If any SMS appeals to me, I forward it immediately to my dear friends/relatives. I use the facility of sending SMS for extending my wishes on birthdays/anniversaries of my near and dear ones and I have found, it proves sometimes quite effective, because if I fail to call any one of them on their special occasions, my SMS saves my day and they do not complain that I forgot to wish them.
I am not aware about any site, which allows us to send free international SMSs.
If you find one, please let me know, so that I could avail the free facility.
Have a great day!

I think minimum of 50 when I am using Unlitext. Here in the Philippines our mobile services have unlimited texting as we are the Texting Capital. We like to use of fngers rather than using our mouth . LOL. But there are other mobile service providers here that give unlimited text and call.

I send quite a number of text messages everyday although there are some days when I don't send any at all. On a busy day I might send anywhere from 10 to 30 text messages per day.

Two years back when I had free sms service, i would like to chat mostly on mobile through sms. Those days I never counted the smses that I send because its a free service, the rough figure would be 150-200 per day. But now I am unable yo send sms through my mobile because there is no free service now, i am using my computer to send sms to my friends now.

I send anywhere from 20 to upwards of 200 a day depending on what I'm doing or who I'm talking. Thank goodness my phone plane has unlimited text messaging! I send all my messages through my cell phone as I have one that flips open with a QWERTY keyboard, I love it, it's my baby! Sometimes if I'm at work and I can't get out my phone I will go online to the providers website and send a message through there if I really need to get one out. I am unaware of any international sites though, I'm sorry!

I used to send a lot of texts earlier, all of them were ofcourse jokes and other forward stuff.
I could send a message from scratch while driving (i.e. going into menu, creating a new message, typing it, choosing the name from address book, sending it, clearing the text and locking the kepad)
But i do not send many messages now, forward some to my close friends if i find something truly hilarious or interesting or informing/asking friends about something important. Around 500-700 texts a month now for me.

When I sent out a sms I use my phone to do so, I only use them for short messages as the sms where intended for in the first place .
I'm not that fast with them and I like to speak to people better then sending a text, but they are very easy for short questions.
I don't send out texts/sms daily, but when I do it varies from 1 to 5 messages a day. I have 60 text messages a month I can use, but I don't allways use them all; most of the time I don't.

Its depends from day to day and on my mood and requirement of sending an sms. It varies everyday for me. But on an average i guess i send at least 2 - 3 sms's daily.
At times when I'm low on balance or haven't refilled my SIM card then i use a site to send the sms I want. I don't know of any site where you can send international sms's. The site which I'm registered with allows me to send anywhere within my country.

I think I can text around eighty to a hundred text messages a day.
I often text my friends and relatives anytime of the day.
It's my way to always keep in touch with them.
Happy texting..
