well, i don't think i'm that good of a typist though i do type faster than some people and friends i know. i learned it when i finished what you would call high school and starting on 'college'. it was a year long course for me, and i was taught typing or rather learnt it from there. before, i could type but not as fast as i do now. one good thing that came out of that 'college' for me is definitely learning how to type properly. well, it's still not proper but better than before. i do not really have to look at the keyboard much except for numbers and others.

hmmm..thats a great story...
in my 13 age i joined a typing class and started to learn typing...but it was very boring for me to sit one hour and type the letter given in the book...i just don't like it..so i stopped going there...then i bought a computer and i started teaching myself..im not a professional typer but,i can type fast....but i cant type by seeing the keyboard only...
without seeing the keyboard, there will be many typographical mistakes..im just practicing it now...
Goodday,
Sri

When i was young, i used to always watch my brother chat on the computer (i had a boring childhood =/ ). I sort of knew where most of the keys were and such after watching him. I had purchased a few online video games and learned to type by talking to people in-game. Eventually i was able to type very quickly at an early age which came to good use when as i advanced through school. =]
