How was your childhood like?

How was your childhood like? Well, I think my childhood is filled with pleasant memories. Most of my playmates where my cousins who are at the same age bracket. It's funny because we would fight a lot but the next minute we would be best friends. We used to live in our ancestral home and the yard was really big and that's where we spend most of our afternoons. We were a big family and our aunts were always there to watch over us. I also had a good relationship with my mom and dad (until now). Although I was not that close to my siblings growing up because they were younger than I am, I do talk to them more now.

My childhood memories are full of pain. My mother leave us for another
guy. We are five siblings. Our youngest brother is only one years old
when she left us. I never enjoyed my childhood life, it was full of
poverty and pain. Thankfully our father didn't leave us too. But he
is seldom home, because he travels a lot for work. We are left to care
for ourselves with out the parents love and guidance.

I am sorry to hear about that. But sometimes life give us different circumstances, we just had to make the most out of it. I hope that experience made you a stronger person and when you have a family of your own, I bet that would be a lesson for you because now you know how important it is for children to have the love and guidance of their parents. I also had a wonderful childhood. I'm afraid that my playmates changed a lot because we lived in many different places, but I always made nice friends whenever I was.
WHenever we were back home we were always either visiting the family or having the family visiting us and it was great to see them all.
I have wonderful memories that will stay with my forever. Memories of love, people and places. I am a lucky person:)

When I reminisce about my childhood I have mostly wonderful memories. It was a very peaceful time without all the negative things in the world today. I don't remember ever hearing of a murder or home invasion while I was an adolescent. The whole neighborhood was our playground because no one was worried about kidnappings or terrorist or child molesters. The world was a safer, happier and more trouble free place.

I am glad to hear that your childhood was filled with some good memories. I have had somewhat of a normal childhood with a lot of friends especially as a young teenager.
I also had a couple of boyfriends. My childhood wasn't always easy and sometimes I struggled with certain personal things, but all in all it wasn't too bad.
