Don't you hate it when people eavesdrop on your conversation?

All the time!! I work with the public, I'm a waitress. When I am talking with my friends at work, somtimes customers eavesdrop on us then ask us about whatever we were talking about. And it's not like we are standing around them. We are in our spot and they walk by and ask. How Rude!!!

What I hate is when thay eavesdrop and do not even get the facts right like bad eavesdroping you know what I mean?

I cannot agree with you! If the person is a student and talking on her "cell" in public, what can she expect? She cannot expect privacy. You cannot "tune out" the conversations that you are hearing! I know kids do it all the time, to their parents and teachers, but it is not proper to tune out like that. She should not answer her cellphone or wait until she is alone to make that call! Otherwise she has not right to complain. teenagers are way too secretive already! I hear all kinds of conversations in public, on the bus, or in the store, and it is so annoying! When I was a kid, the old folks would tell us that there is a time and a place for everything! Now do not even get me started on those teens who walk around "on" each other in public! Like dogs!
