I've heard it said that America has cut gas consumption by more than 3% due to the high gas prices. I've heard it said that we are using very innovative ways of doing it. For me, it was the purchase of a motorcycle to go to work and back. My truck has been sitting in under the carport, unused, for more than a month now. When this situation gets better I'll have an old truck with low milage. What are you doing to save gas?

Hi, I've been carpooling with a co-worker. We live a few blocks apart, so we take turns on a weekly basis driving to and from work. I've started cooking a bit more and bring my lunch to work every day instead of having to go out. I do all the other stuff they tell you too, like combining and planning out trips and errands. I keep the car running well and don't speed or have excess weight in it. I'm also walking a bit more around the neighborhood instead of jumping in my car to go a few blocks to the local market. It's amazing how with just a few changes, you are able to save. I guess everyone is doing it since prices have been inching down. Keep of the good work all!

my boyfriend and I are walking more. We aren't driving excessive amounts of miles to help reduce the gas we use. Like we carpool to work, he carpools to brass band practice and to concerts and stuff. There are many things we need to do to help keep our gas usage down. I've been getting my prescriptions at walmart so I don't need to make an extra stop while I'm shopping.
