Horror Remakes

How does everyone feel about all the horror movie remakes that have been coming out the past few years? What ones did you not like and what ones did you like? Are there any that you're looking forward to? Personally, my favorite horror series is a nightmare on elm street. This series is in the process of being remade and I am scared to death that the series will be ruined in all it's new school glory. Let me know what you think about all of this.

Yeah there are some good horror movies, although mostly a remake is worse than the original, anyway the effects are usually better :D Have a nice day.

I completely agree. I must say though, I was more than impressed with Rob Zombie's remake of "Halloween". I think that if a director is willing to put more into the movie than the original, especially in the way that Rob Zombie told a lot of back story about how Michael Myers came to become what he is, it's going to turn out at least half decent and worth a watch.

The stroy line/plots not so good. Special effects are way better though.
