Have you ever tried any kind of direct sales? If you are good at them, you can make some money. I had a friend who made excellent money with Home and Garden Party. However, I didn't make much when I done it as I just didn't have the time to do it.

I made money offline from my home by making jewelry and eventually expanding to make other little knick knacks to sell via a blog or a site like etsy. There are so many websites out there that show you how to make all this stuff and I started finding my supplies for super cheap at walmart and then started noticing that I can find them other places for even cheaper like ebay, the flea market, dollar stores, etc. It's easy and you can make a decent amount of money.

Jobs I've had offline: Tutoring-Do you have a skill or ability or a degree or some subject that you're great at? Weeding-I was weeding an organic garden for pay. I had to go to the garden. Shopping-sometimes I shop for elderly people who pay me gas and I shop for myself, too. I just keep the two shoppings separate and produce the receipt. They reimburse for the receipt that has all their stuff. If you go out shopping anyway, this helps. Friends have done: Child care/day care/babysitting sell vegetables from a roadside stand at their home( I hope to be able to do this). find and sell things that grow on their property (pine seeds, witch hazel, ginseng, etc.) sew for others: some people do simple repairs, some people hem pants, some people tailor things arts/crafts/quilts clean wool, spin wool, etc.

YES Bellasmama Tiff I always refer people to www.sohojobs.com It was a lifesaver for me a year ago when I needed to beging earning some extra income NOW...versus doing all of the "nit-picky" stuff that pays pennies. Anyway, when I found www.sohojobs.com it was a lifesaver. I can apply directly to companies. receive an interview and work from my home earning a paycheck and getting paid hourly or salary :o) I would check it out. Sign up for their newsletter too! Let me know if I can help ~ Teri K "earning income from home thanks to sohojobs.com"

Direct sales work for some people. You will need to make an upfront investment (anywhere from a few dollars to $1000+, depending on the company), have a decent social circle, be in an area where you can reach people who are willing to buy and be a good salesperson. Another option is tutoring. If you live in a large enough area and have a marketable skill (i.e., Spanish, a background in English, really good computer skills, etc.), you may be able to find some takers. A third option is petsitting. Obviously, you must love animals and be good with them for this one.

do you do anything crafty? How about some photography? Or how about contacting a company close to you and finding out if they have any opportunities for stuffing envelopes or compute work......is there a college near? My daughter typed papers for college students....just a few ideas...
