As time passes, I've seen phones becoming capable of more & more things... Seems like it wasn't too long ago that they started to put FM radio's in them... I know of 2 carriers that have t.v. features in their phone here in U.S., Sprint & Verizon... I'm not sure of any other carriers with T.V. & there might be more but I don't know of any others... I have T-Mobile & I know they don't have it, yet... Personally I don't want a cell. phone with T.V. in it... Friend of mine has FM radio built into his cell. phone & he loves it... I wouldn't mind radio because there's one news station I listen to everyday... TV is still too much for me...

Hi,youless. For me,I will never use the mobile phone to watch TV.I don't like to watch anyting even though E-book with the small screen.Although the screen of mobile phone and MP4 is changing larger and larger,it is still too small to watch TV on it.
And how are you recently?I hope you have been better now.
Have a great day.

I know technology is moving fast and that is amazing being able to watch tv from your mobile, however I would find the screen far too small for me and I think it would tire my eyes out more just looking at a tiny picture. I don't think I would use the facility even if I would be missing out on my favourite program, but I do not watch much tv. I have been watching the olympics at the gym as they have tvs to watch it but not on a mobile phone.

Not really. I am more concerned if I could get online more than watching TV. I don't like TV that much and so if I am going to buy a new phone, that wouldn't be part of my consideration.

hi youless,
i think i don't need the function yet. recently i have a simple cellphone with basic features. i can only call, receive call, send and receive text messages and use other simple features. now it still meet my need.

I don't see the point in having a mobile phone to watch tv on. the whole idea about a phone is ringing people and on mobiles to text. Why should we watch tv on them?? The thing with England (in my opinion) is that we are all obsessed with tv and then you wonder why young children in Britain are becoming obese!! It might seem good being able to watch the Olympics but the screen is small so wouldn't be very good quality also it will be expensive to watch tv on the phone!!
Just my opinion though!!!!

I have a pay as you go cell phone, and that is good enough for me. I only use it a little bit. No, I would not buy one with a television function.

It sounds like an interesting fuction, but with my poor vision, I would not be able to see the screen well enough to enjoy what is on TV. Also I have really sensitive hearing, so if I were to watch a TV program, movie, or sporting event, I would want better sound than the little phone could possibly offer.

Well, why not? If the content can be viewed free, it would be a good to have.
It also largely depends on the other functions available in the phone as well.
No point buying a phone just for the TV function.
Waste of good money. Cos the same amount can get you a really good portable TV already!

I am sure there are. I have seen portable TV that are no larger than a gameboy or a PSP2.
With technology managing to make things smaller and smaller, I am not the least bit surprise if there is on the size of a handphone.
Just need to go hunt around. Unless you are really hooked on the TV, why would you need to get a phone with TV capabilities?

Hello dear youless. I have also seen this kind of home-made cell phone. I showed great interest in it when I saw it. It is not very expensive, but about 1600 RMB. But right now I don't want to update my cell phone, as mine is still in good use though it is very simple. Have a good time, dear youless.

Hi youless! I always find the latest technology in mobile phones amazing and cool. However, I really don't consider buying any of it since I have always been contented with my Jurassic mobile phone. haha..Maybe, if I do have extra money and I will be going to buy a mobile phone with TV function so that I could monitor the Olympics.
Take care always..God Bless!

I never seen a phone with TV function. The closest is that if your phone can play video and has 3G,you can watch the match but need to pay the service provider as you watch. But has TV function is cool.Never seen it before.Hopefully it comes for sale in my country.

Wow !!! I would certainly buy that mobile with the television function. Its awesome and that you could keep track of that which is happening in the olympics with great interest and enthusiasm. No need to see the result . Everything in life has a good side and bad side attached to it . So take the brighter side and proceed with your dreams of buying that phone.

i would not. in fact , my current principle for choosing a cellphone is totally based on economy. as long as it can make and receive calls, famous brand, not ugly, easy to handle, that's enough for me. To play video, i'm afraid the battery won't last long.
