Love and Hate

I want to hear people's opinions on love and hate. You know what they say about love and hate being different sides of the same coin...also there is a fine line. I believe that. Have you ever noticed when someone still cares about someone that they have a deep hatred or animosity. When they finally stop caring then they are indifferent? What do you think?

I think love and hate is corelated to one another. You will not feel hate to anyone if you have not love them. ANd you are right that one person who hate one another does not really stop caring cause there's a feeling inside his heart for that certain person.

I understand what you are saying. I have heard that before but I don't think you can truly love and hate someone at the same time. They are two separate, distinct emotions. I do believe that the long can turn into animosity though if things don't work out the way the person wants it to. It happens all the time unfortunately.

I know in the past when I had relationships that have ended badly....that I have swore to hate that person. I have become consumed with hate. I have been obsessed with dwelling on the situation. Not until I have indifference for that person do I know that I am truly over them. Can't explain it....someone help me.

I agree that there is a fine line between love and hate. You can't just hate a person that you don't know about. So maybe we hate a person for not being who we want them to be or act. But we still love them. There's always love and hatred but love is stronger.
