Name a true but unpopular fact

MyLotters, name one unpopular fact that few people want to discuss or accept.
I'll start with an observation: people download things illegally not so much because they think they're on a crusade against greedy companies, but more just because they want the product for free.

I think people download illegally because they can not afford what they want. I mean if I had a choice between downloading a program or going and buying it because I had the money I would go buy it. Its quicker and safer to buy a product.
My fact: the majority of us would be better off if we did not own computers! We would do more, read more etc. :)

Hehe, you're a good person then. 
Most people I know (including, shamefully, myself) can afford most everything we download, but we do so anyways. I mean, it's true that we wouldn't be able to afford as many programs as we download, but that doesn't mean we have the right to be so gluttonous either.
That is true! :-P We would be doing a lot better. But then again, we'd need to get rid of the TV as well.
