if petrol becomes extinct.
think about the means of transport
people will be going on horses,
bullock cart's or bycycles again..
or something will be discovered later to replace petrol..

I think that a few years before petrol will finish the petrol companies would have already invested and found and produced and distributed an alternative energy source, because there are alternatives sources today and no or little investments.
