Is carrying mobile phones to schools is not advisable, why so

I think mobile phones are very useful for students, but they should not use it if classes are going on, not unless it is an emergency and they ask permission to their teacher/instructor/professor. Mobile phones serves as the communication tool for the students, you might not know if accidents or emergency arises.

Carrying the mobile phone to schools can be accepted but the student must turn the sound/ring off so that it won't disturb the class. And when the class is over or in the resting time, they can use it.

I think students should have cell phones with them when they go to and from school. They should not be using them during the class session.

I think students can take mobile phones to school because it is a convenient communication tool. For those who live on campus, their parents can know their condition quickly through mobile phones. But students are not allowed to use mobile phones in the class. It is not respect to their teachers and disturb other students. They should turn off their mobile phones or the sound during the class. After class or in spare time they can use their mobile phones. Also the parents should avoid their children overuse mobile phones.
