I have been living in Shanghai for more than 3 years, which is not a so-long time. Every morning, the market is full of people buying various substantials for their meals which "destroys" my each day's morning sleep. But since I can remember I've been accustomed to it, not only for its feature of the culture of Shanghaineses, but also for all my memories during this period between my childhood and maturity of my life. In a word, though Shanghai is so urbanized an international metropolis, her so called "Shanghai culture" will never be omitted and neglected, welcome to Shanghai.

I live in shanghai for so many years. And my biggest feeling is full of people everywhere. When u take the subways in rush hours, u will see thousands of people through the tunnel just like marching. The train is so crowded and sometime u need wait for the second or the third train to catch. As a native Shanghaiese, I welcome u all to shanghai :) The Chinese people are kind and friendly.

Well, you've been in shanghai for more than three years, but I, was just born in Shanghai and stayed till now! I'm a Shanghainese, haha! Happy to see the discussion you've raised, and I am just a freshman here. To me, Shanghai is a really a modern city of China, but to be honest, I'd rather live in Xiamen or Yantai of China cause the environment in Shanghai is so disappointing...
As a industrial city in past, various polution was surely inevitable since the forepassed Chinese government ignore the environment protection, however, nowadays'Shanghai surroundings has been much better and improving!

I have been to Shanghai for a few times. Each time I went there, I used to pay a visit to the Bunds and Nanjing Road, my favorite places to visit. I love the metro in Shanghai, so fast and convenient...
