I guess western names are mostly from the Bibles, georgrapic features like Hillton, Greenwich; jobs, like Smith, Cook, Butcher; part of body, features of our build, like Longfellow, which means a tall guy. while, if i come across your name, i will tell you soon.

well, the user name "gabbana" is the latter part of D&G, cause i like this brand. and my chinese name which was given by my father means to be second, be modest. you see, unlike americans, we aprreciate modesty, quite the opposite, even though we can do something well, we normally say let me try, or i'm afraid i can't.
