Why do cats and dogs fight???

Why do these creatures fight each other? It is in the matter of food-rivalry? Or maybe the cats says "You're the ugliest cat i've seen.." On the other hand, the dogs say, "You're the tiniest dog on the earth.." hahaha So what do you think??
