Perhaps you may be curious why there are so many people who join the world of affiliate marketing nowadays. This is because most of them do not like a white collar job. They do not want to travel for an hour to the office everyday. And they do not need to do so if they work as an affiliate marketer.
As an affiliate, you can choose where and when you want to work. You can work on a desk in your bed room at any time convenient to you. You may even work in a good ambiance coffee shop. The only thing you need is a computer connected to the internet. That's it and no other more. If you work hard and put efforts on your affiliate sites, chances are you can earn more money out of them.
There are people who hesitate working in this type of trade because they think of better alternatives. One is creating a website or blog with Google AdSense units on each page. If you know how to do it, it takes you only half an hour to build such a site. While, in affiliate marketing you may spend a week in order to create you affiliate site. But you have to understand that the earnings from AdSense can only be a few dollars everyday, most often zero or nothing if your site don't have enough traffic and/or unique visitors.
In affiliate marketing, once you join a high paying affiliate program your possible earning could be up to $180 per each sale. That is a huge amount and equivalent to the 60-day earnings of a blog if its daily earnings from AdSense are steady at $3.
We could say therefore, that the combination of niche markets and affiliate marketing is a perfect match. You will be able to make more money if you do well in niche markets.
