I am trying to be patient....

I have just started to teach my son. He is 4 years old. Our town's preschool program didn't accept him this year so I thought I would just teach him at home for one year then he can go to Kindergarten. I myself was homeschooled my entire school life. I didn't realize how exhausting yet fulfilling it was. We started Monday and did wonderful until today. I think it's just one of those days that both of us are so tired that we really don't care. Do any of you have any similar experiences or suggestions?
