Is there something that bothers you that people do in mylot? If so, what is it?
Is it people who are always trying to refer you to sites?
Is it people who always write a few words or a line and that's it?
Maybe it bothers you when they don't have an icon?
Or it could be anything that anyone does on mylot. I don't mean a particular person, I mean something that people do here that gets on your nerves.

One thing that annoys me is when you read a response that has absolutely nothing to do with the topic posted. Its like WTF? Didn't you even read what you were responding to?? I am sure this next one is just my problem, but I get irritated when people post a topic where they admit openly they did something obviously wrong. You know, like someone who comes here to admit they are having an affair with the babysitter or they stole from their boss, or they kicked their dog. Whatever. It makes me want to reach thru the screen and smack them upside their heads. If you need to confess a sin, do it in church, don't subject the rest of us to your stupidity.

I have had a few that said nothing about the topic, and read a few of them. I haven't really seen too many of those where they openly admit they did something wrong. I usually just ignore those and don't respond to them. I haven't really seen that many though either.

I have to say it's writing a line as a reply or just a couple of words, those drive me nuts. As if they think that's whats going to make them rich here, LOL.
But the worse thing is rude people that have to pop off some sort of insult. Like they can't just pass it up and go find something that tickles their fancy, you know? There is just no reason for it here.

There is only one thing that bothers me here. I am a person that likes to read good quality discussions and responses. Now a one word answer is by no stretch of the imagination a good quality response. One line answers sometimes bothers me but that depends on the discussion. Sometimes all it takes is a one line response to answer what the discussion was talking about.

What make me bothering is that some people are only busy to create discussions rather than responding to others. I have seen some one created a new discussion only after a few minutes of his/her previous discussion.Have you noticed this ?

Yes I have noticed this. It also seems like these people never go back to read there responses. I always go back to read my responses even though I may not respond to every response I get. I feel like if those people do not want to take the time to go and read there responses and at least respond back at least once then they shouldn't start discussions. Maybe they should only respond. Sometimes I even go back to the discussions I didn't start and only respond to.

Hi there
It bothers me when people are unfriendly..
For example when they ask you to say what you think about a subject, and when you do that eventually, they get offended by your answer.. And start to discuss it with you.. Well I don't mind that they discuss is with me it is just they way they do it.. Well you know what I mean :D
Have a good day :)

In my opinion, it's people who are always trashing the newbies who are just beginning to learn all the features of myLot, and won't give them time to get everything straight in their mind what they can and can't do here. It might just make them want to leave myLot, which would hurt us all in the end, because that would be one less friend we would have on here.

When people write a lot of personal things that tends to get to me. People do not have to do that all of the time. There are other things that people can write about, just be creative.

None of the things you mention really bother me all that much. We were all inexperienced members at one time or another and it takes a while to learn how to properly post here and optimize your time here. I guess if there's one thing that really bothers me is when people become involved in heated arguments over things like politics and religion to the point where they get downright nasty. I have witnessed things like name calling, which is against Mylot's terms of use any way.

The above mentioned one liners and ref links bother me too (does anyone like them?).
Then there are two other things.
The first is the discussions written in 'text' mode. I think those that do it just don't reaslise they are not writing in written English as that is probably the way they are used to communicating on other forums they belong to. I find it so lacking in rspect as there are internatinal members here who will not understand what is being said - sad.
The second thing is divided into two parts but basically it's those who go and then return.
There are those that get banned, come back and repeat the same errors and get banned again and return an endless number of times but never have the decency to follow the rules. That again in my opinion is lack of respect for the site itself and other users.
Then there are those who decide of their own accord to go and do so - but then return pretending to be 'new'. I see nothing wrong with coming back as we all make decisions we regret but to come back and pretend to be 'new', a different person and not the person you really are is not on for me. Internet may be a virtual world but the people here on MyLot are real and pretending to be someone else, in my opinion, is also lacking in respect.

I agree with you. The reason I started this discussion was because I saw a discussion started that were written in "text" mode as you said. I just felt like it lacked proper English. Sometimes they are confusing to me, so I don't see how international members can understand them. I feel like that is lazy to not type out what you want to say.

What bothers me is the referral links in the discussions.
I don't have any problem with people who tries to refer people to their sites. But when the post referral links in discussions, it pulls me back from responding as the discussion will get deleted when mylot finds this.
Refering people is not a bad thing, mylot also gets a lot of people from refering from other sites.
But we are bound to follow the rules of the site.

I agree. It bothers me when people try to refer me to sites when I am clearly not asking for sites. I might be asking about that type of site but not asking for good sites to join. That aggravates me. It's alright about the double response. I understand.

What annoys me is when people keep making the same discussions over and over again, most annoying at the moment is to do with payout, there are millions of discussions asking the following things:
"Does mylot really pay?"
"It is the end of the month and I have $9.99 will I get paid?"
"I have not reached payout this month, will I have to start again next month?"
"When will I receive the money?"
Really we only need one discussions explaining everything to with payout and that is it. It is not as though it ever changes.
There are also the people that every month post:
"I reached payout ..." and then in another discussion rant about people that are here for the money, even though the payout was so significant they make a discussion about it every month.
Also the people that post "I have not reached payout" ... hmm fab what can we do about it?
Then there are the people that make no sense, they make a discussion or a response and it either
a) Makes no sense / is really confusing
b) It is in no way related to the discussion
Yeah a mini-rant here I think.

Yes I have seen a lot of discussions about making payout or about making money. I have also seen a lot of "I made $20.00 with this site" clearly only trying to get referrals for it.
I also don't like the discussions that people start that make no sense at all. I understand if the person's primary language is English but a lot of times it is the people who speak English as there primary language who start these discussions. I guess some things will never change.

I think that if someone is not confident about using English well then they should use simple language, rather than trying to do compound and complex sentences. I think simple sentences are better than not being able to understand a word. I know that when I used to study German I would use simple sentences where possible as I was not confident.

I'm actually bothered by people who just add you suddenly as a friend but actually you haven't seen them in any of the discussions that you've started or responded to. I'm really hesitant adding people that might be actually "trolls" who give you negative ratings that's why your income would go down.
