despite the any problems and crises that the country is experiencing, the Filipino people are very promising in nature. As a Filipino "what do you look forward to in regards to our country?"
I am starting this discussion to build hope in our country. Almost all the topics here in myLot about our country are about the bad things that are happening there.
I am not in the Philippines now but I am looking forward to have a vacation there and enjoy every warm weather, noisy and hot jeep, noisy and careless vendors around. Whatever you say about the Philippines, it is my homeland and it molded me to be a strong woman. I am also looking forward to the time that all Filipinos will stand and hold hands to help the economy recover and stop blaming the government because its no use. Since they can't do anything because they don't want to, we the people should do something about it.
What about you? What are you looking forward to about the Philippines??? Do share and let's dream together.

I am looking forward to a Philippines with people who talk less but work for the best more... less politics but more service to the people... i have long stopped blaming the government for all the problems... because it can sometimes be useless... i try to help in my own little way... i do not dream of migrating abroad... because for me... the Philippines will always be my home...

Hi leateagee,
What wonderful positive person you are, if everyone thought the same as you the world would be a better place. The goverment in all countries are making sure the ordenary people stay down and struggle, so we all stand together and help it will be great. We all love our contry that we live in but the goverment keep beating us down with false promises so we have to do what we can to beat the goverment so lets all hold hands and help each other. Thank you lea you make the worl go round.
