8th August 2008 - is it going to be a lucky day for you?

Actually, this Friday, it will be, because it's my once-in-a-century, once-in-a-lifetime birthday this week, and I turn 23 by then. I was born on August 8, 1985, and it's almost completely rare for someone like me to be born in the same number of the month and day like me, and go into the new millennium and have a birthday like this. August 8, 2008, or 08/08/2008 is like winning the lottery: in this case you only win once, such as myself. Months before, as I was anticipating, if my family ruins my birthday this year, then i'm going to have to accelerate my chances of making money to move out of my parents' house like a bat out of hell and never look back again, because that will be the last straw. However, i'm also going somewhere this Friday, and hopefully it won't be ruined. I'll be having the time of my life on that day. I'm going to spend every second enjoying my birthday trip...until the time I go back home.

8th of august 2008 is my 27th birthday! :) i don't know if it's going to be a lucky day for me or not but i'm hoping to enjoy my day. i'll be with my family and be keeping touch with my friends and go to church. in just a few minutes from now, i'll be a year older. happy birthday to me!! :D

Well hopefully it's a good day for me considering I am pregnant maybe it will be the day that I give birth or even win some money so that I can stay home with my baby longer than 8 weeks. I guess we will have to wait for that day to come and see what happens.

Well i would hope that it has some meaning for us all, good I mean, but will probably end up being just another day, I have given up on luck, seems that there is no such thing anymore. But I will try to remember that it is suppose to be a lucky day and see what I can make out of it, as for luck, I have given up on it. Maybe we got to think postive in all our thinking and good things will come to you, hard to do now adays with the price of gas and the price of groceries too. Come on 8-8-08 give us all some luck.

I remember joking to my officemates last year that I'll remarry on 888. But well, I haven't settled my relationship with my ex-hubby yet, we're separated for 4 years but we're still married on the paper, so getting married again is definitely out. Sigh, I'm no Chinese, but you see, 888 sounds so lucky and naturally beautiful. 3 is my favorite number so I also like 8 because it looks like two 3's facing each other. I was thinking that I'll meet a man who likes 3 as well and we'll make triple 8's tomorrow, August 8, 2008. I know it sounds silly, but I am a silly woman! LOL! I was thinking though that something is about to end tomorrow. Someone who doesn't know my condition yet will definitely know tomorrow and by then things will change, maybe for the worse. hello owlwings, i honestly am not a superstitious person as i believe it is only a hindrance in one's life to do something to its fullest. i believe that we can make every day and every number lucky - we just need to see and appreciate it that way. for me it is just a form of perspective. my family seems to fall to that kind of mentality and i just laugh coz they have to stop something that they really want to do coz of such belief. i remember my estrange brother marrying at the date of 8 coz he feels that it will makes his relationship a "FOREVER" one but after two years they are already fighting and he is already cheating on her. now they are separated and he already have a new girl that he got pregnant and left his real family for that reason (he have 3 kids) they have been married for 6 years last june and i have to say that the belief of 8 being a long lasting one is BS. it is not about the number or a day or something else - our life depends on how we made it. of course there is an accident but that is something you cannot predict that is why it is called accident. i honestly feel that some people uses this kind of belief to take advantage of the ones who believes and not realizing that someone is just fooling them around. i dont buy that kind of story and if only i will believe whatever they say will gonna happen if i do this or that in a certain day or time THEN i wont be where i am right now and as HAPPY as i am. to end this, we are all lucky we just have to believe we are and not focus on the negativity in life. i guess that is why part of me believes in "THE SECRET" book (i have not read this book but have heard part of it). have a good one!

I find numerology to be quite interesting. I don't know if it is good fortune or not. The only time I was ever pregnant, the doctor told me my due date for the baby to be born was August 8, 1988 and we were all excited for such a wonderful birthdate. The problem is that I miscarried and never had any children. I now have an adopted three year old daughter that I have had for six months. It is interesting that the US government sets aside these bills containing eights in the serial numbers.

I don't know yet, I'll let you know on 9-8-08. Yes they are cashing in on superstition but why not if people are daft enough to believe it. I know lots of superstitions but 7 used to be the lucky number here. I should be really unlucky because of my house number but I have been lucky in love and that's better than having money luck and being lonely. Nice to see you here again.

I do not believe in numerology or superstition, I have the worst shift at work tomorrow, so that means that my day is unlikely to be good. I also have nothing exciting planned. It will probably be like any other day, other than the fact I will possibly be waking up at my boyfriend's house, but that may not be a good thing as I may have got little sleep as he tends to wake me up doing the night by stretching over the bed.

I sure hope that this date approaching us in a couple of days proves to be beneficial. Why don't we be optimistic and hope for the best. Anything can happen and let's just be prepared either way. I will probably go about life as usual and if something good happens well then so be it. If it is a good fortune then that is something to look forward to. I am not sure how many people might believe this theory of the "eights", but I am willing to keep an open mind.

I am attending a "mystical manifesting workshop" on that night, and there is also another thing going on with the moon at the same time i believe. I think i won't be able to see it in my part of the world though. But yeah back to the workshop, it's going to teach us how to manifest the thing we really want in our lives, so it will be very interesting! I've only just been introduced to the world of Numerology but it seems really interesting, and the readings i were given are very accurate. The number 8 is a great number because it's a symbol of infinity. :)

i never really thought about it, but i will find out that day what classes i will be taking when i start my online classes on the 20th.

everthing should be lucky as long as you always keep a optimistic mind.Once something happened to you ,especially bad thing,you will try to find something that give you a excuse or reason to balance your disappointment.But if you can open your mind and treat everything peacefully.I think you will find more and more things that is becoming your lucky angel.
