So far we just went to Saskatoon where we spent a weekend and my husband complained that because of his stroke, we can never take a trip to the States because of the medical insurance we will have to pay, or to Vancouver because he cannot sit in the car that long. I would like us to go to Florida but it does not look like it. Then there is a potential wedding coming up. So I doubt if we will do much vacationing this year at all. Maybe next year it will be much better.

I went away for fifteen days with my toddler son. We flew to Riga in Latvia and popped over by bus to Lithuania and Estonia. We stayed in locally owned guest houses and traveled to countryside, cities and coast. I liked seeing the historic architecture, meeting the friendly local people, finding out about the history and seeing an old castle castle with splendid views. I think that your children would love to go to Florida with its superb entertainment but you also deserve a little trip away with just your husband.

Fifteen days is my idea of too short a trip. My longest trip lasted just over one year when I went around the world aged 20 to 21. my next longest trip lasted a few months when I went to New Zealand aged 30. These days I have two dogs that I don't like to leave for too long. I would love to go to Florida one day.

I went to hanoi in vietnam. it was interesting and convenient cos it's only about 4 hours from my country via airplane.
i also had to renew my passport because it was going to expire.
orlando sounds really nice! I've been to disneyland but the anaheim one instead of the orlando one. I've heard that the orlando one is better.
also great to go on a couple trip! definitely sounds like heaven. my hanoi trip was also just me and my hubby. It was great cos we managed to go on a city tour and stayed in a cheap but great and new hotel, and also went on a 2 day one night cruise in this unesco heritage site. all in all a pleasant trip.

Sounds like a nice chance to get away alone with your husband. Enjoy! Orlando is a great vacation spot. Have fun. I was in Arizona in April visiting our grandkids and our youngest daughter. My husband had to stay here and work. That's the extent of my vacation this summer. My husband coaches softball so he traveled quite a bit this summer with the team. I was here with our pets.
