No matter how your day has been there must have been at least one moment during the day that you have laughed, so lets get giggling and share what has made us laugh today. I'll start, I took my son downstairs earlier wrapped in a towel from the bath and then went to go get his clothes, he got up and started running around and fell on his bottom getting a carpet burn on his bum, not funny gave him a hug and got him dressed but a while later a neighbour popped in and he done a moonie at her and said 'look at my bum' I had to laugh but I sure hope he doesn't make a habit of it. (he is 4 in case you wear wondering) LOL.
So what has made you laugh today? Ellie :D

That was so funny, I hope the neighbour wasn't too shocked!
It's the only thing that's brought a smile to my face today, so thanks for sharing.
It's been a bad week, we've got workmen in and the house looks like it's been hit by a bomb! I'm going to have to redecorate as soon as they've finished as they've removed several radiators and put smaller ones in. Good job it's summer as they took the old fire out on Monday and still haven't fitted the new one.
I'll read a few posts on here and I'm sure to find something to cheer me up!

Hi Annmac, Oh I am pleased that my discussion, or should I say my sons antics, gave you a laugh. Having builders in must be frustrating especially if you now know that you will have to completely redecorate. I am sure you will find other discussions to have fun with on here too. My neighbour just laughed, they are used to his cheekiness (note the pun) and with them he can get away with anything LOL. Ellie :D

Your story made me laugh Ellie. In fact I am chuckling now. A former colleague of mine moved into a new cottage and had a house warming party. We were the first to arrive (I hate that). His wife works in child protection and they are very serious about the whole thing. As you might expect. Anyway, he was getting our drinks when all of a sudden their five year old daughter appeared completely naked! I said "I didn't realise that it was going to be one of those parties. Shall we all undress now?" There was a moment's silence and I thought that I had dropped a major boob, when his wife, of all people, started to laugh and we all joined in! That's my way of saying that I have had one good laugh today, and you provided it with this discussion. It has not been a good day at all otherwise.

I am glad that your friends wife saw the funny side. I giggled when I read it imagining you thinking ahoh what have I said! LOL. Lets hope tomorrow is filled with more laughter for you. Ellie :D

I was downtown in all the heat and dust and traffic and vagrants and there was this guy standing in front of a one post pulpit in front of the bank with an empty cardboard box at his feet, preaching his heart out and people, two and three at a time, were dropping one dollar notes in the empty cardboard box.
What a sight for an oil and gas rich country !

That's a good one!
Well, today my babies' dad was off work. He took off to go to a revival that we're having at church. Anyways, he was eating some Debbie cakes, but he didn't want to give my babies any, so they took it upon themselves to beat him with the empty cake box until he gave them some cakes. Unfortunately, he didn't give them any, but he did get a good beat'n!
We are trying to get them off the sugar train--not working out so well.

my dog was really happy for some reason today. i went outside and played with him for a bit and he kept trying to jump on me. he's a five year old fat boxer so the sight of him trying to jump was pretty funny. his favorite treats are leaves from a tree we have in the back so for a good while he was just trying to jump up and grab some from a low hanging branch. later on in the after noon i was sitting in my brothers room and i looked out the window and i saw all my dogs running and jumping and playing and suddenly my big stupid dog decides to just sit amidst all the commotion and his two puppies werent paying attention and ran right into him. it was hilarious. then i sat down so i could watch sytycd and my dog heard me through the window making comments and he jumped up to spy on me every ten minutes or so to check if i was still there. it was a good day today.

My niece finally came over to spend the night. She is only 1 and I think she is the cutest, yet meanest baby ever. She had me laughing all day! Babies do the baddest things but you just can't help but to laugh.

Hi I remember when I had an accident years ago and they had no hospital beds available so I was put in a ward with all old people and I was scared because I was very ill and thought they had put me there to die LOL. I was moved a couple of days later once a bed became available elsewhere. Ellie :D

A couple of us ladies were walking tonight around the neighbourhood. We were passing by this clump of bush, when suddenly my friend stuck her butt right inside the bush and let out a long loud fart. What was really funny was as she did it the leaves began to rustle at the other end of the bush.

I will have to think long and hard about that one. I had a miserable day yesterday as two people wanted me tochange, one to give up my faith and leave my church(she did not say that but her intentions were plain enough) and one to make me believe that some of a certain faith were against a certain action. I was willing to conceive that the latter had a point, but not the former.
However my husband had a hair growing out of his ear, and well although I did not giggle, it was funny watching him try to get it. I told him I could pull it out, but I used scissors. It was funny trying to get a hold of the hair, because my husband's hair is gray and I thought well what if it was dark brown and it would be sticking out like crazy.

Hi Suspeneful, See even on a bad day something can happen to make us laugh eh! I would have been annoyed if someone had try to do that to me. I have my beliefs, I go to church and I am very accepting of others so why can't they be of us. God bless you for making a stand. Ellie :D

My kitties can always make me laugh and today was no exception. My big, macho, male cat that looks and acts like a lion (I believe that he thinks he is one), was sauntering across the street. I was waiting for him at the front door, holding it open. He casually stopped in the middle of the road and scratched his ear, then sat there looking at me like 'what are you going to do about it?' I just stood there patiently waiting. He finally stood up and continued strolling on over when a truck came roaring around the bend. Hahahaha! He wasn't strolling anymore! His eyes got as big as saucers and he had to totally ruin his 'I'm such a cool cat' image by running for his life.

Hahaha, that would make me laugh too! I used to have a chicken that thought she was a dog, and when people would come to the house she would go tearing out to the driveway with the dog, clucking as though she thought it was a ferocious bark, hehehe. Yeah, I love the antics of pets!

Oh yes animals can do the craziest of things at times can't they. I love the way you described Mr. Cool Cat and suddenly eyes like saucers and running for his life. My femal cat thinks she is our rabbits mother and gets into the hutch and sleeps with them she is so daft LOL. Thank you for sharing. Ellie :D

I have 3 girls ages 2, 4, n 9. I have laughter all day long. Never a dull moment. I will share this one story with you. I told the girls to go outside and play. I put the batteries in the power wheels and told them to stay in the yard. I was cleaning house, but the windows where open, and I could see them from the camera's. Our yard is also fensed in. Just if you were wondering. One of the girls came in wanting to know if they can play in the garden hose. It was hot, and we weren't going anywhere, why not. I see them in the camera playing in the hose. I go to clean the bathroom, out of sight of the screen, but I can hear them playing. I was in the bathroom about 30 min. I come back in to check on them, and they are mud caked. No big deal. I go back to the BR too finish mopping. I got done. I see in the camera 2 naked girls riding around in the barbie mustang. I went outside and asked them what they were doing. There were muddy clothes strung all over the yard. Keep in mind I can only see thier top half. They said that their clothes were muddy and they didn't want mud in the mustang. Ok fine, but when they stood up to come in the house they were stark naked. I walk on out to put the jeep and mustang back in the garage, and there were these little muddy bum cheeks in the seat of the cars. Only my girls would run around naked, and muddy, in a convertable. I used to drive a jeep and my joke was "I like to mud 'topless'". (It was fun going mudding with the top off, and we looked like something out of a scary movie when were done mud slinging.) I really hope that isn't what my girls are implying. LOL!!!!

Kids are funny. As I got done writing my response. My 4 year old, Maycee, was lying in the floor watching TV minding her own business for once. My 2 year old, Lilly, walked up and sat on the side of Maycee's face. Lilly wasn't wearing a diaper or panties. (We are potty training.) Maycee came unglued!!! She said that Lilly's butt cheek was on her face, and her fufu was on her nose. I really neeeded to give her love and care, but instead, I laughed. The madder Maycee got, the harder I laughed. Lilly was standing there holding her butt, saying 'my butt Maycee's face.' Just laughing. I finally gave Maycee a baby wipe to wipe her face to make her feel better, and gave her a hug. She's still mad at me for laughing at her. I apologized to her for laughing, and when she walked away, I laughed some more. I then hurt, my sides were splitting.
