I'm feeling much too hot!

Well at the risk of grossing you all out,I've lived in Spain for 5 years and it's getting impossible to keep cool and fresh.Yes I knew it was hot here before I arrived,I came here on holiday several times.It's just that I don't remember it being THIS hot!Could be more global warming I suppose because even the people I know that were born here are finding it difficult to cope with.Alright,this is where it gets gross! I hate it when my face is sweating,it runs in my eyes and makes them sore.I hate it when the sweat drips on my glasses.I like to wear a little make-up and I hate it when it all melts off!I hate it when all my clothes are sticking to me.I hate it when I've had my 3rd cool shower of the day and 5 minutes later I'm back to square one!I hate it when I'm so hot I can't sleep.Personally I think it's some kind of design fault cos I always thought that you are supposed to cool down when you sweat?Also where did this idea come from about if you have a hot drink when you are hot,it cools you down,it sure does'nt work for me!Endless glasses of ice cold water are just heaven as are ice lollies and frozen slices of water melon.I live in the centre of a small town and sometimes I go walkabout in the shops so I can enjoy their air conditioning,it's expensive to run so I don't have the luxury of it.How do others of you cope living in hot countries? Have you noticed it getting hotter?Are there any other MyLotters sat at their computers with their feet in a bucket of cold water with an electric fan 2 inches from their noses?
