I'm a big price shopper. I always make sure I'm getting the best price for my money, but I have given up cheaper brands because the higher priced ones taste better. If they're very similar in taste, I'll go with the cheaper one.

as for me, i buy stuff that really are necessary. my husband is always at my side reminding to tighten up the spending because of the unpredictable hikes in the cost of our living. if ever that i will be confronted between two items with no differences at all except the price, i will therefore go to the cheaper ones. just a word in as much as being economical is concerned, better buy to the small stalls than go to the mall.

With the high cost of living now, I do check the prices of what I buy closely. I also just but the basics. If I have extra cash, only then do I buy extra "wants". I also don't buy branded products for some stuff. My toothpaste is local. Soap does not have to be expensive, same with shampoo and the like. I play with y grocery so it fits my budget.

I have always paid close attention to prices. I even taught my kids price per weight as well as nameb brand vs. generic. People are amazed when I am shopping with my teens, and they start comparing who can find the cheapest price per item.
I also believe in making lists as well. Planning out your meals from paycheck to paycheck is the best kind of paydirt. And naturally, EAT BEFORE you shop, if your shopping for food. As for clothes, RECYCLE,REUSE,RENEW.
