Recently in our state, the government has announced the official "Power Cut", there has been Two hours in a day, they same has been implemented for a week time, then it gets stoped, and also the government has proposed to be back with the same power cut proposal again, with in a short span of time, i read the same in the news paper.
Accoring to me, this may be the good proposal, if we thought that we have to save power, due to various reasons, we will not be able to do that at home or even in our offices, if it has been officialy announced by the governement and some of the particular time, if the power has been went off, the people also will get it ready and finish their work before the time of power cut and they prepare to welcome the same.
This will not only reduce the power bill for the month, it will help the nation to save the power..
What is your opinion about the Power Cut/savings..

You know in the surveys it says that in the starting of 2000s we have nearly 1000megabytes extra which thye saled to some other states for money but when now the production is slow why should they bother us by reducing our daily usage by power cut for an hour? whose savings did they use to sell when they got profited and now why do they wanna reduce our usages? !and the major thing is in city the power cut is for an hour and in V.I.P areas it is just half an hour but in villages where people depend on power supply for irrigation purpose are totally collapsed because they are experiencing 8 hours power cut per day.. i highly condemn this and the main thing to be noted is this survey details were telecasted in tv only that too in a very popular channel..

HI dear i agree with you every aspect but as you have shown the one side i would like to throw the other side.Because of the fear of power cuts people are buying diesel 2 liters a day where they used to buy just 1 liter previously.Well it may sound nothing when individually considered but when it comes into large number the impact is that the city which used to consume say 100000 liters of diesel everyday is now consuming more than 200000 liters of diesel everyday. So there is a shortage of diesel now. Also i could see because of that there are many vehicles forming queues near the gas stations in many places emitting out the co2 and also the traffic snarls. All these leads to traffic jams and also heavy pollution.Well this is the other side of the power cuts.Well a country like ours can only be changed when people start understanding the consequences for what they are doing and until then even god can't change our country.People have to realize the importance of power. They are thinking water and power are unlimited. Cheers MOIN.
