Why would you have to be ..... We are all born pure and innocent ... Adults are supposed to educate the young ones on how to act, according to the current trends and believes.. Doesn't mean they are the right ways... Simply being baptized and thinking you have accepted the holy ghost will not allow forgiveness ... Only you and the victim can offer closure and forgiveness ... I do not believe you need to be the perfect person to move on to a higher plain... If you are truly sorry for the bad things you have done.. and sincerely sorry, you will be forgiven ... How could anyone not forgive them on their death bed... they have suffered with this knowledge all their life, from the bad things they have done... You will not be free from the memory's until you forgive and let it go, so you can continue with a happy life... not forget, it has made you who you are today. more knowledge and a stronger individual .... You do not have to be friends with them to forgive and let go... What do you think about these teachings and religious believes?
