mummy is supposed to have been a legendary movie for years, but mummy 3 didn't live upto what mummy 1 & 2 had delivered. First of all, there was no chemistry between Fraser and Maria Bello. No emotional attachment at all when the sister meets her brother jonathan in shanghai after a longtime. i was really suprised they took the mummy out from egypt to china. n what was yeti doing in the movie. it was not a mummy movie but a chinese legend with jet li in the main role. i think the people responsible for spoiling the mummy franchise should be bought to justice. according to me rachel was the one who is mainly responsible for mummy 3 failure..

Rachel to me made the mummy movies! but this was a bad script, the son is way to old in this movie, it wasn't a MUMMY movie! I believe Fraser said yes, to it, maybe they tricked him into it, but if I was me I wouldn't have done it either, I think she didn't ruin the movie, but it would have been worth watching if she was in it because her and Fraser Chemistry!!! I hope they make a 4 WITH Rachel, in it and redeem 3!

so according to you rachel did the right thing opting out, and fraser took a bad decision, mummy should never have been taken out of egypt

no it is a different director. the script and the screenplay is bad. the movie did not live up to its expectations. and i hope i don't see any more bad versions of muummy.

all i could say is that it's very disappointing. i want weisz back.
she made the movies all possibly looking forward to.
from chemistry to everything. that is what bello lacks with brendan. no offense though i know she's a good actress but not good enough to beat what rachel has started.

Not at all! I must admit, the third film wasn't as good as the previous ones, but it was still a very good film. Lots of great action and stuff. It would have been great if she'd come back, but i think the films main downfall was that it tried to be too serious! Alex was just no where near as fun as when he was the little cheeky boy in mummy 2 and the whole father / son tension thing was just not needed!
I think it's prob more likely that it was written and directed by different people. It is quite a long time after the originals too.
I still really liked it though and wouldn't mind a 4th at all! Though one more comical and less serious would be better!

Although i didn't watch the movie Mummy 3,I agree with that all the movie should be kept the orinigal Clou.sometimes,when they continue the story in to 2/3 part,the clou would be changed involuntary.It is not so fascinating as the original ones.
Hope in the future,peopls can create more and more nice movies.

I'm glad i didn't watch it at the movie theatre or i'll just waste my money for it. As much as i want to watch in the theatres, i have no time. So i watched it through an free movie online sites. I was surprised that it's not Rachel Weisz, very disappointed. I find it boring. So, i just closed the window media player and didnt watch the movie again.
