Is CAS right in not letting Messi play in Olympics?

I hope all the football fans have heard about Court of Arbitration for Sport's decision of allowing Barcelona FC to recall Messi from Argentina's Olympic squad......... The CAS has ruled that none of the clubs is legally obliged to release players for Olympic Games at Beijing....
Maybe CAS' decision is right regarding the laws and FIFA's clause for releasing players........ But I think Lionel Messi should be allowed to play for Argentina at Olympics...... Because representing your country at Olympics is once in a life time oppurtunity...... And Lionel Messi has also expressed his desire to win a medal for his country at this year's Olmpics.......
What Barcelona FC fear is his injury.... Messi had already suffered two hamstring injury in last two years....... So he is prone to the same injury whenever he plays...... Definitely,Argentina will play him throughout the entire match if he plays at Olympics........ In order to win a medal,he has to play at his best and he has to play five to six matches within two weeks...... This can aggravate his injury again..... This is worrying Guardiola and Co.

he has to play..the only problem is that if he get injured barça will get mad to him..because barça is paying him and not his national team..so the only problem about all this is MONEY! because if the national team will give barcelona something like 1 million dollar they will shut up and take the money..
anyway i think that everyone should go where they are called for..so i support Messi and hope he don't get injured..and next year he will come and play for Inter F.c. in milan..

yes he is in my opinion.you dont pay a player a huge wage to sit on the bench after being injured in a competition who by the rules of that competition you should not be playing in anyway.i might be making a big mistake here.but are the olympics not supoosed to be for amatuer competitors.same applies to the tennis players.so i have to ask why are the IOC letting those players compete.the argument will be that all the competitors are pro sportsmen/women now but those so called amatuers do not get a paid wage each week they are paid what is called appearance money allegedly to cover all expenses plus a payment from a sponsor if they are lucky.whatever way you look at it the runners and gymnasts are still classed as amatuer so why do we have professionals trying to compete
