Would you help the newbies here in MyLot?
I have noticed that there are a lot of posts under new user and no responses. It came to my mind that maybe people are choosing to what discussions to post responses to. Do you go out of your way to make a new user feel welcome by answering to one of their posts. I am one of the newer users of MyLot and I would have felt more welcome in this site if "older" ones post replies to my discussions. It is always easy to click of the tab for No Responses.
Are the topics listed inside the tab not interesting? Well, we can help each other out by, maybe, suggesting other topics or make a response that will make the thread more interesting.
Come on guys, you were newbies once and you know how it feels to see no one responding to your posts. Let's join hands and welcome the new additions to the happy group of MyLotters.

Sorry that you feel this way, but I always go to the no responses first, you can check in my profile. Sometimes new people repeat older posts over and over again and nobody will answer that thinking that the discussion will be erased. I answer and try to help all new people. By the way welcome to MyLot!!!

That is nice that you do that for the newbies, a lot of people surely felt more welcome to MyLot because of you. Do they really delete repeat posts? I have just answered a thread which complains about newbies just "dumping" here and told the thread starter that it was unfair to generalize.

I don't think so that people are replying to old member's discussions. People are looking for some interesting topics and they want to share their ideas and feelings in an interesting discussions.
I also reply to interesting discussions although it is started by a new member or an old member. It don't matter.

I guess that I made a mistake in making a generalization. But there really are a lot of posts with no response at all. 8-)
