hello mylotters:
For me , i never delete my friends on mylot.but i find many people have the habit to delete some friends on mylot due to some reasons in their opinions,
so are you the one who delete any friends of yours on mylot? if so, what is the reason?
1,the user always be offline.his account is inactive.
2,you always respond his discussion, but he never respond yours.
3,he always starts a new discussion which you are not interested, but he always let you respnnd, so you feel bother.
4,he always send you some unuseful private messages or spamming
5,you don't like his description or photos on his profile
so what anout you? choose one or tell me some new ones???
Thanks for your share.

I have very rarely conducted a "spring cleaning" of my friends list; but when I have done so, the only reason I would delete someone is if they have been completely inactive in any of my topics and I have been completely inactive in theirs. It sort of defeats the purpose of having them as a friend if there is no interaction between you whatsoever!

I do not usually delete any of mylot friends, but lately I have removed several friends because they either are never on,or they do not comment on my responses on their discussions,or they do not do that many discussions,or they do not do anything discussions that interest me,there are several of my friends that I would never delete and I am pretty sure that some of them know who they are.

I seldom delete anyone permanently. I do delete those who do not like my answer in certain interests until I get a more balanced outlook. For instance let us suppose that I put down music as my interest and I love Bach, and suppose the only people on that interest were those who hated Bach. Then I will delete them until I invite enough people who love Bach. Then I will invite the others back because well they may hate Bach, but then again they may love travel as I do, they may love cooking as I do, they may be writers, etc.
It is a temporary thing and sometimes they request friendship again and I always accept it.

I have found that I was deleted because I did not agree with their point of view, and I kept to my moral standards that somethings are wrong and they really scolded me because of that. But although I do it temporarily, I will never delete anyone permanently. If they want to become my friend and invite me, I will accept. But I am not good at disappointments so they have to make the first move. I have been hurt too often.

Initially, when I joined I kept on adding new friends and would accept each and every request for adding new friends. However, gradually I realised that each and every one does not remain consistently active. Many of them become inactive over a period of time. Then I started reviewing each and every friend and if I found that either he/she is not participating in my discussions or vice versa, I unhesitantly 'deleted' his/her name from my list. I found that there is no use of lengthening the list, till it serves it very purpose. I calculated if a particular member re-appears again (who was earlier in my friends's list and was subsequently deleted) I can 'add' him/her again in my list. I try to review the list periodically. I also feel that if someone has added me as his/her friend and does not find me in her/his discussions, due to any reasons, he/she has every right to 'delete' my name from his/her list.

I have NEVER deleted a friend in myLot.
I have ONLY EVER denied one request. This person & I had been having a rather heated discussion & I felt he wanted to take it personal & I had already said everything I had to say on the subject.
As far as deleting a friend...
(1) So what if the user is offline a lot. Real sometimes takes people away from the online life. I'd like to think when they get back they will return to being a friend. It costs nothing to keep them in my friends list.
(2) If you have time to realize who is not responding to your discussions, you need MORE friends not LESS so why delete?
(3) If the discussions started are not of particular interest, I might turn off notifications but keep on my friends list....going back every so often to check & see if the discussions have improved.
(4) Maybe I'm just fortunate but I have never received spam through PMs. I have heard of it but not have it happen. When it does, I will ask them to stop the spam & explain I will be forced to delete them if they don't stop. Then I will deal with it per their reaction.
(5) If I didn't like the description or photo, I might not accept them as a friend but I wouldn't delete them later for it.
(6) I have heard a good many who deleted a friend due to a disagreement. I'm not sure I'd do that one either as I would hope we could work our way through it & have a civil disagreement.
(7) I have heard of people deleting friends because that person had deleted another friend. I don't think I'd do that one either as the disagreement was between 2 other people & just because they can't be friends doesn't I can't be friends with BOTH of them.
I can't think of ANY reason I might just delete a friend. I would be sad if someone decided to delete me*sighs* but such is life. My feelings on that is they will be missing a better friend than I will!!!

Hi successlog, I only delete friends if they have been inactive for a very long time, or if they have never responded to one of my discussions in perhaps six months or more. Maybe I shouldn't delete them at all, but after a while I just get the impression than they are no longer interested. Blessings.

I clean out my friends list on a regular basis. I have deleted people because they have been inactive for a few months, because our interests are so dissimilar that we have nothing to 'discuss', for spamming me, for never commenting on any of my responses to their discussions, and many other reasons as well. But I would never delete anybody because I did not like their photo!
I wish that there was a way to let someone know why you have deleted them from your list. I think it would spare a lot of hurt feelings.

I have till date not deleted any of my friends from my list. But it may be that some people may find that I am not responding to their discussions and may delete my name because I respond only to discussions that I know something about or is a topic that I am really interested in.

In my part I still did not delete any of them in my friends list in MyLot because i am still looking forward to have more friends in here and if there is a possibility between those sentence that you have written off as a choice to made then I guess I will have to choose the number 1. which is the user always offline and inactive and 2. I always respond to his/her discussion and he/she never replied on my discussion and 3. is always make a discussion which is not interested enough and always make it again and again.

I never delete any of the friends that I have got on My Lot. Some of them are no longer active members but I have a My Lot friend that left for months and then came back to My Lot. So I wouldn't like to delete any of these members in case they do come back. Everyone has different views and I find that interesting. If my friend starts discussions that are not interesting to me they might respond to one of my discussions. In the future they may start an discussion that I do actually find interesting. I like having friends on My Lot that are from all over the world.

I also never delted my friends on mylot but I could do if anyone would try annoying me by messaging constantly without my permission or doing some other similar stuff.
Adding friends on mylot is always good because your discussions will be visible to more people out there and it will surely increase the chance of being responded. In the other hand, if you add more friends you will be able to see more people starting discussions in your "discussions from my friends" section and if you are a person who constantly looks for a discussion to respond (I mean,if you can't respond to many discussions here and looking for some specific ones) then I strongly believe adding friends will be helpful because it will help you to be aware of more discussions started on mylot. adding more interests is also helpful in that way.
To sum up, as I have just mentioned I haven't deleted any friends yet and willing not to :) Also wish all the members to have nice experiences with their mylot friends! have a nice day :)

I have only recently deleted a few people and that is either because they were inactive or I felt that their content was rather nasty and I found that nothing they wrote I could respond to. I try not to be mean, but sometimes I feel that deleting people helps clear out the "Discussion my friends started" list and allows me to be more fair in responding to those people who are kind and respond to me as well.
Have a wonderful day, Successlog.

hmm...i dont know much about it..
but,i dont i never deleted any of my friends....the reason is because,by the time i delete a friend,i might have started a discussion or responded a discussion...
Moreover, whats the profit in deleting...there's nothing!!
