beacause the social comoetition is quite fiercely.even though i have a formidable boyfriend, he couldn't protect me well.at present, being independence and formidable is the best way to protect myself.maybe a man like a graceful woman.but we can't live well only depending on other's protectiom, unless we never face the social problems

parkour! that's great. it keep you strong, alert as well as healthy. well, you can tell your parents that the parkour is strengthening; it's enable you to protect yourself. i guess your parent will understand and allow you to practice it. anyway, if you are my daughter, i won't let you learn it either

I think your mother quiet right. Because every parent wants there son or daughter as weel as they like. Another reason is your favourite sport is almost not match for a girl. But if you like, you can go ahead and try explain to them. You can say to them to give you a chance, and you will stop when you get married.

i think i can relate with you.
i play soccer in my school and when i started, i had all sorts of remarks from my parents. soccer is a guy's sport, blah blah...
but i say if you really want it, just keep telling them about it.
make them see what you like. make them see you .
and they'll learn to accept it, eventually. =)
