has anyone tried nachos with Doritos?

no I have not, but will now. You make them sound so yummy, will let you know what I think. off to the grocery store for some Doritos

I have never made nachos with Doritos before, but I can imagine it would be good. Just like regular nachos just a little bit cheesier. I sometimes use them crushed up over the top of a taco salad if I am out of plain chips.

Sounds like it would be too much cheese. Maybe sometime I will try it.

I've done that before, and I find that the original Nacho cheese works best, as well as the Cool Ranch flavor. It adds more flavor to an already tasty dish. I tried it one day because I was craving nachos really bad, and the only tortilla chips I had in the house was 2 bags of Doritos (orignal and cool ranch) so I combined the 2 flavors and prayed it would come out okay, and it really did. I haven't gone back to using plain tortilla chips ever since, unless I eat it at a mexican resturant

My boyfriends mom makes taco salad and she always has regular tortilla chips and nacho cheese doritos and almost every uses the nacho cheese doritos!

Omg I love to make nachos with doritos. It's so delicious! It's sooo cheesy! I like to put a lot of cheese on, and it just tastes so good. Cheesy chips and cheesy cheese go together great.
