Recently, I stumbled upon an article that was about the tickets to the Olympic Games. According to the article, many people qued up in front of the ticket booth and some even camped there earlier just so that they could get the ticket.
Now I want to ask all of you, what would you do if you had one of those tickets?
I for one would sell it by auction to the highest bidder and use the money to buy other stuffs. It seems to be a good business because we could earn a lot in just a short time and not too much investment.

I would hope that China would let me into the country. I read something about people having their visas denied for no apparent reason. If I was refused, THEN I'd sell the tickets...

Thanks for your response.
I didn't know that China denied some visas. I had a friend who went to China last year and it was quite smooth for him.

I have heard of the security in China being tightenned due to the Olympic Games but not to the extent that people are getting denied of visas for no reason. I think it must be the fear of terrorist attacks. Terrorists have been known to target places where many people go to and the place where the Olympic Games is held is going to be packed with people any disaster can be very very catastrophic.

yeah, I think it was in newsweek or some other news magazine. The article said something about making people fill out forms regarding their income and job and whatnot. Also, it said something about people being denied without any explination as to why. I wish I had that magazine with me, because I didn't get to read the article fully, or else I'd know for sure.

Go to the Olympics especially if it's for the opening program. I've always watched the opening of the Olympic Games since I was young and it has never lost its appeal to me. I love it when they have the parade of nations then the production numbers. Just imagine the effort (and also the expenses) just to stage a spectacular event.

As much as I would like to go there, it would be very boring if I didn't go with my friends. I prefer to watch it from the television with my friends.

hi jerry! guessing by your answer, i can tell that you are a business-minded person. ^__^
if i happen to have one of those Olympic tickets, i would surely fly to Beijing and watch the Olympic games! i have never watched any of the Olympic games but i'm sure it would be a lot of fun to watch those athletes compete for the gold to bring honor to themselves and to their country. i'm a fan of a lot of sports and i would really enjoy watching different people from different countries doing their best. this year, i especially want to watch it because my favorite tennis player, Rafael Nadal, will compete for his country Spain and i'm sure he'll play a great match and i just want to watch so badly. i hope someone would upload his Olympic match in the internet.
and it would be terrific to see Beijing and have a tour there. if only i have lots of money. i would surely go there and watch the Olympic games.

I would probably give it to my daughter.(If she were old enough) It would be the trip of a lifetime. Something I wouldn't want her to miss. That is an opportunity that doesn't come along often.

Yes, it is a rare event. Your daughter would be very happy if you did that. You are a very good parent.
