With so many phobias out there and so many people are scared of. What is your phobia or phobias? Also why do you got this phobia(s)? How do you handle it?
Mine would have to be spidars and snakes. I pretty much become a big baby with these. Anything else I would not say is a phobia of mine, because I can do things that invove them. So those are not phobias. They are just dislikes.

You're doing good with your posts carrie!!!
I have a deadly fear of spiders & snakes!!! I can pretty much handle anything life throws at me unless I see a spider or snake then I nearly pass out or die. I think it is because they are so sneaky...NEVER making a sound. I live in the South & we have tons of spiders around here. I spray around my doors & windows often to keep the spiders on the outside. I hear others talking about snakes; but, fortunately I don't see them often.

You seem to have it worse than I do. I will kill spiders myself. If I was married to your hubby, I'd prolly kill him too for torturing me like that. There is nothing funny about fear of spiders!!!

Yeah! I live in the south to and I know all about the sidars and snakes. Matter of fact about fifteen minutes ago. I stepped outside and when I walked back in the door. There was a spidar on the front door. I screamed and ran. I came to our bedroom where my husband was laying. I pulled his legs off the bed and grabbed him by the arm. I told him you got to go kill it. Smileing the whole time he said what. I told him there was a spidar. So he walks into the living room and the spidar has made it to the wall close to the ceiling. He reaches to kill it and it puts and gets on the ceiling. he tries again and gets it.. He thinks it is funny. But I don't. They will make me hurt myself.

I am currently fighting fears. I have a fear of driving. This only started a couple of years ago. I used to love to drive. I would be the first one to offer. Now, I rarely drive because of this fear.
I do have a phobia of crickets. I cannot stand the sight or 'sound' of a cricket. This has been since I was a child. Crickets send me into a cold sweat and sometimes it will result in tears.

Your fear of driving? Do you remember how it start about? I was just wondering. I was in a Bad Wreck a short while back. For weeks I did not want to drive and if I did I tried not to go by the place where I was in the wreck.

I have never been in a wreck. This started right after we moved to a entirely different area. I thought it was a fear of getting lost but...that isn't it because I know my way around now.

With flying. Your in a inclosed object. So your not really able to see the ground with out looking out the window. I use to be scared to climb, but I got over it fast. My youngest daughter is always wide open. When she was two years old. She climbed up on top of a staircase that led to the top of a building at the races. I had to chase her put them. Once I did it a couple times I was fine. Hopefully One day you will beat your fear.

I totally agree with you there. I can not stand a spidar. My youngest was at the pet shop last week and asked me to come here. So I go to see what she wants and she was standing in front of a cage with a big ugly spidar in it and asked can I have it. I looked at her and asked are you crazy. She laughs and said no mommy. I want it. I asked her you going to hold it? She no you are. I laugh and tell her yea when I kill it. She laughs at me and said i guess you are saying NO. I told her you recan so. Needless to say we did not get it nor anything else when she asked for the snake. Happy Mylotting and Posting to you today.

The fear of a lizard is called HEREPTOPHOBIA. In the list for this one is uses lizards as the number one thing people are scared of. I thought you might like to know the name of your phobia. Also I have tried to get over my fear of spidars, but I just can not do it. If I see one some how some way it has to be killed. I can not live with them close to me. I spray the outside of our house every week. Matter of fact we got to do it this weekend. Thank you for sharing your phobia with me. I hope you have a GREAT Weekend and Happy MyLotting and Posting to you today.
