hi all,
i used to love my saturday mornings and i would take a friend every saturday and we would go garage sale shopping lol i tell you i havwe found some great stuff that i still use a=but then again a lot of stuff i have got rid of as well..
my hubby wouldgo nuts saying why buy that we will never use that lol but i was soooooooo sure i would, lol 99% of the time i would put it all in the shed and he would go nuts lol..
so i dont go much any more

Hey shell, I love gargage/tag sales. I've gotten some great
stuff too. It's sooo much fun! If you look around sometimes
you can really find some interesting things. I've found some
unique items to decorate my home with that I probably wouldn't
have been able to find in a store. That's what makes garage
sales so appealing!

I love garage sales but i just can't get up early enough to get the best stuff..when i do my weekly drive around on Saturdays it is the sight of the balloons on the poles at the end of the street that I just can't resist...

i found this big black oven dish that was brand new i got it for $1 and we use it for our BBQ meat when its ready, i just thought as its brand new and $1 why not..you know in the stores the baking pan goes for around $70.00 and i got mine for one dollar..
i have found some great pot plant holders, and plant boxers that i have painted up and made them look great..
you just have to open the eyes and look and there is a treasure to be found from time to time..

Wow! that's another thing we have in common.
I love garage sales, two of my girlfriends and i would go one to two Saturdays out of the month.
I've found lots of good stuff, that i still get good use of.
My dad use to say:"One man's junk usually is another man's treasure".

i have to work saturdays !
it's a 12-hour shift, so i miss them all now.
oh, i love garage sales.
in fact, there is one at the corner that has plants.
i'm going back tomorrow.
the woman told me she starts new plants every winter and by summer they are big enough to sell.
i love shabby chic things and sometimes find the perfect thing !

I love buying at garage sales and bargain sales. Heck wit my current college allowance those are things that i could afford... However I make it a point to buy something that I could mix and match with my old stuff... when shopping I'm more of a clothes and shoes person I'm not really into trinkets that's my mom's department... So anyways when I buy clothes I make sure that I can use them with some of my other clothes to make them look like they were never in a bargain sale... lol... so there shopping tips 101 lolz..

I am not a big fan of garage sales, because when I was little my Dad used to "save" by buying my sister and I all kinds o really stupid clothes and stuff at garage sales. We had lots of money and were eally well off, but Dad and grandparents thought that cheap was better. I am not intereed in designer clothes, I just want someing that's MINE, not that someone else didn't want anymore.

I would like to share the same feeling
.Ours here usually falls on wednesday.Though some maybe used ones but there are some stuff that are slightly used and some has price tags on it.Right now those second hand stuff are of very much use....the oven (amongst the second hand).But right now need to rest from buying stuff -even new ones....we don't have enough room for these things
