No it does not hurts because I take precautions and do excercises regularly . BAck is as important a thing as your face .Once started back problems are toughest to handle and mostly for life term . So better to take a inititative now if your back pains after long sitting hours

I never saw thing discussion. My back often hurts while Im on the computer, the key is when you feel it starting to ach, get up immediatly and walk around alittle bit. Thats all it takes. The more you do this you will find your back not hurting as much.

You are right, I am foolish. I should sit up and take a walk away for a while. Thanks for your reply.

I'm sorry about your neck pain. Guess you have to get up and stretch a bit, right? Feel good my friend.

Hahhaah, a man is a boy, you know that. Okay, it's a deal, but I want the back rub, I am so tired of sitting here. Hubby is giving me the look to get off, so I will say good night. I'm gonna attempt to answer a few more, and off to bed I go.

I think you should sleep on a firm mattress, and stretch a bit when on the puter. Don't waste your money on pills and creams.

Och. That would hurt. I sit here for many hours, sometimes 10. So I understand.

no, I don't sit that long and do this, only for a short time while I am winding down from the day waiting for my son to go to sleep. But the second I feel my back start to get tight, I stop and get up and start picking up or doing something else.

You are smarter than me. I just keep pushing and pushing and my back kills from my stupidity.

I have arthritis and a herniated disc in my back. So, sitting at the computer does hurt my back. Every so often, I take a break for 5 minutes and then come back to the computer.
