You Think Music Videos Are Getting Worse and the Music??

There are so many songs now,but the wonderful song is very less,that songs we had heard were forgot soon.For the music video,it's more and more better,i consider MV is not bad,there are many technology in video,it's wonderful,i like MV,it's just my point of view.

Uh - I'm surprised to see a discussion like this coming from a 17 year old. If that's how you feel, & ESPECIALLY if people your age feel that way as well, then things MUST be getting horrible. If enough people feel that new music is getting worse & worse, the music industry would probably blame file sharing instead of admitting that it's them. Like you said about "cloth less" ... many seem to believe that if the singer acts sexy, that would sell the horrendous music. There is a lot of good new music out there, but it's not released by the large record companies. Quite a few of them are actually unsigned bands. (unsigned - as in not on some big-time record label.) They probably don't have videos because of the lack of equipment to actually put a decent video together.

oh i find them bad. i have a 15 year old daughter watches a lot of MUCH (canada's version of MTV) and i have to tell her to change the channel because her sister is in the room (11) and i dont want her watching (either one, really!) that junk!

I agree with you even I'm a songwriter...:-0 Most of the music videos and music now a days don't have the good quality like before...Well if you compare the music in the past and today,it is really a big different...I experienced workin in some music companies in our area and attended some meetings and the thing they need now is the peoples attention..They said that even the song is not that good quality as long as the crowd like it or they feel that it will be a hit,they will release it...:-0 God bless and have a nice day...:-0

Hi there I think the music videos aren't that creative anymore, well maybe some are still, but in general I think not.. But to be honest I also don't like the music that comes with the video :D So maybe that's why I think it is bad... I think the videos will keep getting worse.... And maybe someday they will realize it and do something about it.. Have a good day..

I honestly think that the music was way worse then the music today. Music today is not as bad as it was 5 years ago. But with that said, you will always have some bad music, but I really feel it has mellowed down, but then again maybe I'm not watching the right music channels? LOL!

I haven't actually noticed such a huge difference...I think every era has had its share of controversial songs (early rock and roller Chuck Berry even performed and recorded a dirty lullaby called "My Ding-a-Ling"!), and even some 80s videos are pretty raunchy even though music videos were new. Maybe raunchiness is more prevalent in music now, but even that's hard to say. Lots of good music is still being made which is never promoted on MTV and other music video channels -- I definitely wouldn't want to judge the whole of music based just on what those channels happen to play.

i agree with you, the music is getting worse and worse and the language is bad. i don't like my daughter watching or listening to that stuff. i don't even listen to it cause it offends me. i stick to my country music cause its pretty safe, besides a few songs i've heard. but i have a neighbour that swears alot and so does her hubby and her 7 yr old son, 4 yr old daughter and her 20 month old, that lil one has been saying swear words for a couple months now. but in her house they listen to that music and don't seem to care that its full of swearing and almost naked woman. i don't like going to her house of of it. i think its just gonna get worse and worse as time goes by.

Yeah, I think music is getting worse, have you listened to the words on some of the songs? My nephews listen to that stuff and they're young, I tell them your not listening to that in my car, cause he'll get in and turn my station. It will probably increase as we go on, I don't even call it music, what you hear these days.

yes its going worse, there is no meaning of any word n attaching line to line without any feeling. Music of 4-5 yrs ago was good, it has some meaning, n touchs heart n was forever but today's music not bearable more than one week, n its just become trendy. about videos, we cant say all but few which are taking our generation to wrong sides, but its time, with changng time everything is changing......

Hi usually I used to download music video which had been downloaded more by users.The music video is bad to see.I think most of us like this type of video music as the download rate itself shows it.Surely it will increase and never decrease as no one is good.

well i think that some music videos and songs are getting worst everday, but hopefully we still have some good bands playing.

music videos these are days are a mixture. some are bad as u mentioned but sme are good too like some sad songs

no new music is better than old music.

I also think music vedio are getting worse. I think is trend is going to continue for a while before the movies get better.

i have to say that u guys are right....these music and even the movies now day.. a lot of (u know) and like they get nastier time be time. i just can't believe them. the music, its usually like girls and boys together. touching each other..it so out of control. could it be that they are bored of doing the same thing?i guess....
