I was looking at some resin crafts on one of the crafting websites, and It looks very interesting. I was wondering if anyone has tried this type of craft. If you have what have you made? Was it easy to learn? I check Hobby Lobby and I notice that the resin is very expensive I have a coupon so I was going to use it and try it what do you think should I try it.

I love working with polmer clay. After you work with it and learn the ins and outs of it you can really make some lovely things. There are all kinds of video turtorials about working with polymers on youtube.

I want to try resin crafts, but I admit, I'm a bit afraid of the fumes and the ventilation needed. I have had it in my hand several times in the craft store though. If you do try it, keep us posted!:) I imagine it's tons of fun!

I have tried resin. It was easy to do. I made necklace pendants with it. I embedded polymer clay flowers and polymer clay fish into the resin. I made them for marketplace day for my daughter's school. They were very cute. I decided not to use it again because it has an awful smell. Resin should be used in a well ventilated area or outside. Of course, you may want to wear a mask.
