I have always known what i wanted from life. But now after i have a child i cant exactly decide what i need to do with my life. I have worked for almost 5 years and now that i have a kid i sit at home. Not that i dont like taking care of him, i enjoy every moment with my son. Just that i cant decide when to join back work. I want to work so bad but i dont want to leave my son and go to work. This is so not me, i was never so indisisive in life. Love sometimes makes you sooooo helpless. Now my son is a year old, guess i would wait for another few months and then join work. have you gone through a time when you had to choose among the two things that you love???

Please wait awhile before returning to work. Studies have shown that the first 3 years are crucial and that mothers leaving their children during that time instill distrust and insecurity in them, as they can't understand why the center of their world is leaving them. In Germany, they pay the moms to stay home with the kids, it's that important!
Take your boy to the museum or another cultural event that you enjoy, don't just stay home. The more places he goes, the better he'll adjust to the world later.
