Just today I was about to go to Bulacan my province. I was really excited since it took me a lot of years before I got to visit it again. I know it was not that far from Manila but I really don't have time to travel due to work and my baby. So when I saw an opportunity I grab it and now I am here!Anyway, while I am about to go here. I was disgusted and even wet! Yes wet! It wasn't because of the rain cause it was sunny here but it was all because of the flood! My goodness. I don't even see the road and if you are just new to travel in this place you might get stuck due to the holes that the road has! My car got stuck for almost three times due to st*pid holes and I almost fell from the river! Imagine there was no sign that tells the travellers that this is the end of the road or whatever! Thanks to god and to the concerned citizen who shouted that my right side was already a river.
I got stuck in the middle of the road because of the traffic and I got the chance to talk to some drivers. They said that it was not because of the rain but it was all because of high tide and the construction of road.
I feel so much for the students that I saw walking in the middle of the flood wearing thier uniforms and even to the houses near the road because their house was with water and the scene would really disgust someone. You'll see some garbage flowing with the water. Oh my! I don't know what's happening to this place anymore.
The places where I remember was part of the river was no longer a river. There are houses already built there and I guess it adds to having flood cause the covered the part wherein there should be water.
I even ask myself what the h@ck the local government is doing here? They are the one's should act on this problem but seems the are just sitting and watching the scenery. It was really miserable to see. I just feel safe when finally I arrived home.

hi there kabayan.i am also born bulakeƱo but is already living here in cebu. i remember how terrible our place when it rains, when there is storm. most of the houses near the river and the stream need to be built with a second floor or more. this is to anticipate the high tide and floods during rainy days. one more terrible experience i remember when i was still there is if it rains and angat dam reach the highest level, water flows and you can never tell what will happen next. it was a little fun those days for us, while we were students. but when i started working in manila, and i have to go home in the province, it will be a long trip through the waters. So sad to see those things. I bet this was not the usual thing you've experienced there before but it is happening. All in the name of development and progress they say. Well i do hope the local governments could do something on it as if they do nothing it may soon become part of the river as erosion would carved its way out.

OH! What an adventerous journey and experience you had. YOu would have never anticipated a flood like situation, but you had to face it. Anyways, do not worry, local Government over there would have taken note of your concerned through your this post and they would do the needfu. Thanks God you are back, safely.

good thing there was someone who had seen you or else you will go straight to the river..government officials will act on that..they will find relatives to be the contractor of the road projects then they will have a part of the budget to be used in road construction or river rehabilitation..or they will have an over charge on it..
