hey,everyone.my hometown is a land full of bamboo and it is famous for bamboo.
there are thousands varieties of bamboos in my hometown,different shapes,different kinds.
bamboo only blossom once in lifetime,and after giving out flowers ,it means the end of its life.
from the window of my bedroom,i can see bamboo forests,they are very green and fresh and also
beneficial for my vision.
have u seen bamboo? do u like it?

Hi dear
yeah i have seen bamboo plants and i like them, though its hard to go through it as its leaves are so sharp and can injure U. so its good to planr as fence wall
but its news that bamboo plant blossom once in life. Why dont u share pics of bamboo flower and bamboo forest.

Oh I will get one once all the pets are gone . It just looks so ncice with the water and river rocks . i was gonna send a pic but it wont let me now . will try later

I always wanted a bamboo plant and then i would add some river rocks to the vase. now is not a good time with all the pets

Hi chenmeiyi, to me bamboo is an attractive plant with elegant and unique appearance. I like watching those Chinese paintings of different types of bamboo.
I could imagine how beautiful and fascinating the scene of the green bamboo sea while looking out through your bedroom window. 
Wow! After reading your discussion I then come to know there are such a huge amount of varieties of bamboos in your hometown. I believe there might have factories for manufacturing bamboo products in your place.

hi,lkbooi.yeah,we chinese people think highly of bamboos,we usually describe a
person as righteous as bamboo.they impressed us with an appearance of long and
straight,just the same like as many lofty people.yeah,the green forests of bamboo is
really fabulous and awesome.i love them so much.there are many types of bamboos in
china,the most famous one is somewhat like the turtle ,beautiful and surprising.
we also have many kinds of bamboo products,like bamboo mat,bamboo stool,bamboo
pillow and so on.welcome to china,welcome to my hometown.

Hi chenmeiyi, if I’m not wrong, plum blossom, orchard, chrysanthemum and bamboo are honored as the four noble men. So the Chinese people here like the Chinese painting to have any of these plants as the subject.
Yeah, it’s really amazing to know that there is bamboo to look like a turtle. I hope I would have the chance to have a look on such unique bamboo. Well, the imported products of bamboo from your country are available in the hypermarkets here.
If I were to visit china definitely I would like to spend some days in the famous bamboo town, ningbo to watch the varieties of bamboos there.

Yeah. this is familiar in my hometown.
There were lots of stuffs you can do with bamboo.
Our old house is made of bamboo and the roof is made of coconut tree.
Our old chairs and sala sets are made of bamboo and even bed.

hey,agihcam.bamboo is really versatile and people can use bamboos to make a lot of things.
bamboo products are also famous in my hometown,there are many bamboo pillows,bamboo
floors,bamboo bed,bamboo desk.

we have lots of bamboo in our farm.my husband likes them and tells the caretaker to plant more and more...but it is only now that i learned that bamboos bear flowers...really?nice if ours bloom too

yes i have seen bamboo they are also very common here in the philippines... I love how they look in forests and here in my hometown most of them are being used for several purposes... they are used to make huts, which is still common on rural aeas and i also like eating bamboo shots cooked in coconut milk... it's delicious...

in my hometown there is a famous bamboo museum which boast thousands of bamboos,and also
attracts many visitors every year.it has white small flowers.

Hey, Chenmeiyi! We have something in common! I also hail from a village/town in India. Have seen many bamboo grooves and in fact we had few bamboo trees in our village garden, years back! Village people here even now make and sell many bamboo products and we also used to have some for our use! Like you i have also seen the blossoming of bamboo! Have a nice day! Olympic Cheers!

I love bamboo but my home town does not have any 
most of my aunts have a bamboo plant in water with river stones and i love that . one day i would love to get some something like that for myself . my blinds are made of bamboo and i love them

I can just imagine your hometown with all that bamboo. That must be a very pretty sight! And yes, looking out into greenery is very restful for the eyes. Bamboo is common in my country too, but I don't think I've seen bamboo blossoms. I didn't even know bamboo had blossoms! Wish I could see one.

I like bamboo shoot very much. When i went to Hunan province i bought a lot of spring bamboo shoots, which are as thick as the index finger. My colleague from Human are very happy when I give them some spring bamboo shoot. They persuded me that I should better cook it with meat.

Yup. i like bamboo trees.Bamboo forests are shelters for birds and animals.Bamboo forests are big echo systems,as its full of birds and insects.
