My son and daughter, who are 11 months apart, are getting ready to have their birthdays this month. Since we are stationed in Germany with the military, most of their friends are back in the U.S.A visiting family. I would like to do something memorable because it seems like a much bigger deal to both of them this year but I am having a hard time coming up with unique, fun, satisfying for them and friends who will attend, ideas. Can anyone give me some party solutions to work with. We coul visit one of Germany's wonderful kids places but because there may only be a few kids, I would rather keep it close to home. I am hoping that this will enable the majority to come to their party. What would you suggest?

Hey, unfortunately you forgot to post the age of your kids. Therefore it is hard to say. Isn`t there an amusement park near the place you live ? Most kids love a Mc Donald`s birthday. What I loved as I was something like 11 or 12, my Mom decorated my room for a party like on new years evening. With streamers and balloons and all that things. Then she organized a nice hi-fi system and this way I had my own little disco at home with my friends. We danced and ate coloured jelly. That was a lot of fun. Hope that`s an idea for you.

You are right, ages would help. They are 7 and 8 but I do have a daughter who is turning 13 next month that may love your idea. I'll suggest it.
