what movie(s) has influinced your life?

I've lost count of how many movies I've seen (heck, I've lost track of how many I own) and there are a few that left lasting impressions on me. I just wonder how many other people have had their life affected (for better or worse) by a movie or a few movies? I'd list some of the ones that have affected me, but I'd rather see if they get mentioned here. ALSO!! if you could reccomend 1 movie to someone (old or new) what would it be? why? my reccomendation would be for everyone to watch "pan's labrynth" ... it's a movie that almost everyone would enjoy with a bittersweet ending. I believe it was billed as "a fairy tale for grownups" or something like that. ok, better stop now before I start reccomending more

I'll check that movie.. it's pretty interesting.
actually, there's lots of movies that made me realize, and influences me, but this one really attacks me..
the movie that I'll never forget and has a big impact on my life is "Forrest Gump".. it was such a great movie..worth to watch!
lot's of values and very inspirational..
every person has it's own purpose here on earth.. no matter who you are, how big, small, smart, stupid you are.. you have your own purpose that you're the only one who can discover on what it is..
God! I just don't want to tell the story of it, I don't want to spoil it.. anyway, if you haven't watch it yet, try it.. and you'll gonna love it!

yeah, it's definately a great movie. I know lots of people made fun of it, but it was easy to do, since lots and lots of people saw it... I hear that the movie (as long as it was) just couldn't fit in everything that was in the book and that the book is really good too... but I have no idea who wrote it and have made no effort to try to find it, but it may be worth a look if you really loved the movie

really? forrest gump has a book?.. hhmm. I don't know that, well, I'll to find it for myself..well, it looks like an easy movie.. but, it has a lot of sense in it.

the movies which influenced me most is lord of rings, i use to imagine i was fighting in that movie, against my university exam papers, its a kind of inspiration for me

lol, that's a good image. but it's true. sometimes it seems like the odds are impossible when you have some papers due and you have to finish that last draft, but theres no way you can see to fit in the prof's suggestions, etc... they are great movies too.
