How to identify whether a similar discussion is posted earlier?

You could try doing a search at the search engine located at the top right of Mylot. Of course you would need to select the tab Mylot or Discussion before doing a search, if not, you would just end up searching the entire web (Internet as you put it). Lol.. anyway, it is okay if you start a similar discussion that others had started. If yours proved to be an interesting one, people would still respond to your discussion and share stories with one another. Another thing is that discussions tend to get 'old' rather fast, and gets pushed down the list. SO, even if yours is a similar one to others, there would be newcomers who would be pressing on the New tab just to answer discussion. So, of course it is of no problem at all. Other matters, hmm.. its easy buddy!! in the top of this page you'll find a yahoo! search..in that select "discussions" above the search box and then enter the desired keywords...you will find whether it is already posted!! Generally many people(including me!) wont do that...just remember onething,no matter how old the discussion is,it should be interesting..thats all!! if the discussion is interesting,you will get many responses even it is already posted...for example"firefox or IE"..!! I think we can make the best use of keywords. When we try to post a discussion we can look up a specific interest and the posts under that interest. Second thing is we can search for the keyword in mylot and check for any existing posts of the same kind.
