Dear friend,
I have got emotions like to laugh, music makes to dance. But not yet cried or got sad until those picturerisation are like that. I do like to listen to music and its movies too and more the movies make me more emotional and musics I hear are just me dance or sleepy. It also make my boring away. Until now I had not much cried of got sad after listening to musics. I love to hear it and sometimes I like to dance some music makes me smile.

Some music really touches the heart as it makes you remember your past, some times makes you feel you are missing some one very close to your heart. When such feelings goes beyond your control it just comes out in the form of tears.

I would have to agree certain songs mean more to me then other songs simply because of the memories that can be attributed to the songs and whenever you hear the song it brings back the memory that you had possibly repressed.

I have heard both of those songs. Although I'm not quite sure why you put something about Newzealand before 2pac.

I like old love songs. It gives me a good feeling. The voices are so angelic that it transport me to the good old times. The time were I was not born yet. lol The melody is so heavenly that I feel so relax.

I get this when I listen to sad songs, they always seem to have words in that remind me of some part of my life and it makes me want to cry and then I feel down. I actually avoid listening to sad songs now as they just make me feel low.

Definitely! Music can inspire emotions and feelings in all of us; which I guess is why we all have different tastes. Some songs make me nostalgic and remind me of times in the past; some songs make me sad or feel energetic and some make me feel relaxed..... There are many different songs that have varying effects on me prsonally and I am sure that there are many others that experience the same!

im a rather emotional person i guess, even commercials can get me fighting back tears pretty often.
there are a number of artists and songs who if i sit by myself and listen to i will end up trying not to cry.
if im with other ppl and a song comes on that i know is gonna get to me, i just change the radio station or track on the cd lol!
especially Stevie Nicks music..i dont think there is a single song of hers that i cant relate to from some point in my past. many many of her songs have me fighting tears.

Many memories are tied in some way to music so of course a song can bring on emotions. Sound and smell are two of our most powerful senses and memory is often jogged by those two senses.
There are songs I can't bear to listen to, like the one that was on the radio the night I had to have my dog euthanized. That was 7 years ago and I still can't even hear the opening bars to that song without tears. Other songs are happy and bring back great thoughts of times gone by.

I think the point of music is emotion. That is why I like it. It lets me experience the emotion of the singer and feel something.
