UNIFORM - Why students only has to wear uniform to schools

I think it is because wearing uniforms is part of the discipline every one of us should undergo. And it is a start because we would also wear uniforms when we have jobs already. And I think uniforms ' are nice and neat looking. Have a nice day!

Dear rkrish Wearing uniform in the school is essential to identify from which school you are. Wearing uniform in the school is also for awareness of dress sence, discipline. In a cities number of schools are there and if in the event of any mishap dress/uniform code help to identify the students. When I was in the school our school uniform was white T shirt and navy blue half or full pant with tie . I regularly wear it. Every school must have their own uniform and students should wear the uniform as prescribed. pkc3000

My guess is that it allows for the students to identify themselves with the school. It is so that all the students in the school have a sense of identity and would not get into the conflicts which we see all too often in schools that allows for own dressing. There would be no silly comparison of who dress better and teasing of those who are too poor to afford the most recent designer clothes! Furthermore, it really saves us the headache of thinking of what to wear for school in a bid to be different from others and to avoid the teasing and bullying that would come if we were to dress differently. OF course, all of these are just my own opinions and does not constitute to facts. Hehe =)

When I was going to school I didn't agree with school uniforms and I thought they were silly. Now that I am out of school I can understand why educators want school uniforms and what they do for the school. I think uniforms are a way for all kids to be equal. If everyone has to wear the same thing you are not going to be having those cliques of kids that pick on other kids for not having the hippest clothes or most expensive jeans. I also think it's a way for schools to be more mature as kids can not wear those extremely baggy jeans or very tight shirts. I think when kids wear clothes like those it is only a distraction in the classroom. This way by having uniforms there should not be nearly as many distractions as there normally would be. What is your opinion on school uniforms? Are you for or against them?

as a student, you should learn how to obey the rules. Wearing the uniform is just one of them. when you first leave home, you shouldn't do everything you like. you should obey the laws and rules. from the school, you begin to realize it and that's why students should wear uniforms.

possibly to distinguish them from other school children and another aspect can be that those who don't go to school or to any other school they can see which school uniform is better and that can also attract them and they might come to know that school better then their and may join it. the most important thing is team work. wearing the same school uniform makes you realize that you are a part of the school and these are your mates and you can chat,work and study with them.
